Sorry, i didn't realise i was dealing with someone at the other end of a wormhole and sitting in 1928.

It's funny that you don't know the song that you are arguing about.

"Who's that team they call the Rangers,

Who's that team they all adore

We're the boys in Royal Blue..."

Ringing any bells?

As long as the songs contain nothing deemed illegal then sing away as far as I am concerned.

Football is a large part of society, especially in the West of Scotland so to say this song has nothing to do with football etc is not getting the point. These songs are part of the club, the tradition, the heritage if you like and as long as there is nothing illegal in them then there is no harm in singing them.

Loyalist songs are not illegal for now so there is no issue as far as I can see.

Besides, it is well known that Rangers fans have a very strong unionist connections, we are the Queen's Eleven, We sing Rule Britannia and God Save the Queen with gusto. The Loyalists are called this because they are LOYAL to the Crown, they wish to remain part of the United Kingdom (As do a lot of Scots.) So of course you will get pro union songs sung by patriotic unionists.

and the UVF the Rangers fans sing about is NOT the terrorist organisation, it is as every good bear knows the Ulster Volunteers of the early 20th century who were sometimes known as the UVF and NOT the organisation taking those letters from the 1960s!

And we are Scotland's gallant few

and we're out to show the world what we can do

So bring on the hibs, the hearts, the celtic

Bring on the Spaniards by the score

Barcelnona, Real Madrid they will make a gallant bid

For we're out to show the world what we can do

and an actual bigot. To be honest if you think I'm a bigot you seriously need help

Words can't describe how much I hate people like him. But you do try so hard don't you

Worse than taigs. In fact where's shifty eyes....

Now you're just embarrassing yourself, in this case I'll bear those shifty eyes with pride.

A bigot is the perfect phrase for someone that wants to subdue people proudly singing about their Loyalist/Unionist culture and heritage and please don't hide behind "it's nothing to do with Rangers" pish, that's already been blown out the water.

If you never had a problem with Loyalist songs then you wouldn't care less if fans sung them at Rangers matches.

What? I know the song but in my 40 odd years of attending ibrox I don't think I have ever heard it sung without the use of fuck

When making a point in an argument well researched information and the truth helps.

It is the Mhedia and non Rangers fans, especially Celtic who get it wrong. We know who we are singing about.

but yet loads of so-called Rangers fans still worry about what these people think of us? we keep trying to look like the better people and not offend those who wanted us dead, stuck the boot into us and continue to lie and write shite about us ... and some of our so-called fans still bother about us potentially looking bad in their eyes? honestly man, I despair.

Rangers. Either with us or against us.
