thedarvelmarvel 795
Leipzig is the one that surprised me until i looked at the date.Leipzig was part of the old DDR set up.The last time i visited there was just after the wall came down so there will have probably been quite a few changes since then. we had a visit from a deputation from germany and they all wear top hats..but we had the last laugh at harmony we put towels on all the spare seats. they liked that one. bawsburst 1,381
The opposing captain is indeed the majestic Beckenbauer who on the night was anything but, given no time to kill it and stroke it about and he didn't like the shall we say fulsome tackles. Arfuf Phuxache 190
You know Beckenbauer was a left footer I take it.You know the craft isn't anti-catholic I take it? Many German's are/were brethren. The symbolic 'forget me not' lapel badge was worn by those on both sides during the great war, and subsequent wars. Mercy being shown to a fellow brother on the field of battle, on sight of the blue flower. To this day many brethren wear it on a lapel as an indication of being part of the lodge. Those who know what it is, know, those who don't......
