Smile 26,610
Would have been ideal him to play him and Little against the slow Dodds and Marvin.
joker69 60
He should get a chance this season i'd rather see him upfront with Little than Daly
WilliamFyfe 1,438
Should always be 2 up top
AlBear. 8,499
Should always be 2 up topA flat 2? Or maybe one in the hole supporting? What about 3? With wingers or no? How about a flat 2 with high wingers in a 4?Kind of a silly statement. Should always pick a formation and line up you think will win the game. Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
Think he should be starting against Stenny - him and Little up top
The Godfather 72,041
It's pure windy but...Daly is needed as the hoof balls to him are key...
Dietspam 733
He's only been available for 3 games has he not? He started two of them.
woodvale1690 43
And therein lies the problem. He should have two first choice forwards, not one.maybe 2 forwards playing at the same time, nah won't happen, stick to the tried and tested daly, yipeeeee
Essandoh 21,223
Not true considering he could have played as a trialist.Daly was hardly a bad inclusion as one of the trialists. There was always going to be players left out.Had McCoist chosen Clark instead of Daly then the same people would be raving that we'd wasted a wage on a proven SPL goalscorer that wasn't in the manager's first team plans. woodvale1690 43
No he could have played in other games as a trialist....did he feature in any friendlies/pre-season at all, starting to think ally brought him in to stop clark beating ally's goal record tbh

Jimfanciesthedude 24,603
Last game he started he was anonymous and hardly moved from the box.Little and Jig should be the front 2 until they hit a dry spell or poor run of form.its amazing the whole "the new guys have only played 3 games" defence is used when people question ally and the teams performancebut when it comes to wanting a young lad getting a run in the team is fair game to slaughter him after 3 bit part games

It should be up to him to play better when he does get the chance.

elephants stoned 2,994
Ive constantly said since our summer signing spree we should be using squad rotation, that way everybody gets a good chance if somebodys been on a great run of form like Jig with his goals then they get picked until the form dies away, Clark should get goals this season probably not as many as last but if he gets a run in theteam and finds form he will score, Daly is getting alot of stick and its sad because some of it is not about his football ability and people have admitted that but he will also get goals, its about not sticking one up front and lobbing high balls to them in windy conditions and when they are up against two man mountains like yesterday that would be a good thing not to do again for a start. Jimfanciesthedude 24,603
he's simply going to be a wasted talent, if he actually does have any potential then we will waste it, he'll sit on the bench regularly for the journey to the SPFL then after minimal games he'll be expected to be top division level player and slaughtered when he isnti honestly fear to think what our team will be like back in the top division,
