IainB 599
There is no way Ally is going to get fired this season, if we don't skoosh the championship next season then aye, but if we win that then he is going to get a shot at the Premiership with some more investment in the team. We tried playing on the ground last season and all it got us was kickings from the hammer throwers. The same people were crying out for a big burly centre forward to take care of the muggins the centre backs were giving our forwards, We have done that. While I don't like the style of play we are using at present, playing silky football is only going to get you kicked off the park in ANY division in Scotland and our refs are not exactly models in providing player protection. There is also going to be very little in the way of foreign players arriving at Ibrox so we need to snap up the best Scottish players available, preferably on pre contract Bosmans and continue to develop the Murray Park youth (as an aside why the fuck had that name not been changed yet?) Youth development is not McCoist's remit, but it is failing. A serious scouting system needs to be in place soon. AND the days work at Murray Park needs to be increased dramatically. Should be reading Arrive 9:00 am kit on and on training field by 10:00 a,m. conditioning 10:00-11:00 am. team passing drills 11:00- noon. Lunch with team mates noon-1:00 pm. He would only not get a pay off if he broke the terms of the contract in a substantial matter. One year contract. .remainder of that years money.martin bain doled out the contract, as his last act of get it up you. Good ranger man is marty, one of the best. loyalfollower 1,543
Players on ability alone are strolling the league. What we need is a good tactical manager that can make changes if needed during a match. We could have a caretaker boss and still stroll this league. See barry has been given temporary Blackpool job. Theres a guy who doesn't want to be friends with everyone. If he does well there then who knows? Could be a ready made replacement. He did play under advocaat after all and must've picked up a few good things

siddiqi_drinker 14,635
12 month rolling so either one years notice or one years wages - worst case scenarioNot that I believe you but even 12-month rolling contracts can be terminated at contract end. There is normally a notice period written into the contract, but not one years notice. Unless Al K Murray was pished when he signed it.
