Porto (portugese teams in general) are a different beast all together.. these guys dont need work permits for all these brazilians (actually only had 2 in the squad that day).If you look at the team he had, at the time, you can see why he didnt need to spend that much.. although, do you know for a fact if he spent loads or not?Simeone hasnt spent loads.. in fact, he has been downsizing! They have all the money in the world after all... alot more than Jose had at Porto and Inter. If anything, he achieved more at Porto then he did at Madrid, with ALOT less money. You cannot distpute the fact that he has always (mostly!) managed the big spender in each country..Also.. His Porto days are a long time ago in terms of football and money.. Had they not conceded it there's a good chance they would have gone on to win the tie. Mourinho got his tactics spot on, Chelsea were unlucky.
