Reformation Bear 6,453
Hibs are in freefall. Would not be in the least surprised if they end up in the Championship. An even easier handout of the Premiership title to the other lot next season with Hearts (and maybe Hibs) gone. The Premiership is broken already as a concept of a league where there is any competition to win. Boring. Boring. But the other lot won't see it that way. Title after meaningless title and the money and CL that goes with it. The sooner we are back there to bring that to a halt the better. Not helped by far too much internal squabbling and ST boycott threats. The real issue to focus on is the football and Championship next season - not playing at Boardroom shops which could derail that football objective. Next year doesn't count either.Winning a one horse race is not an achievement.Next season's SPL is all about 2nd, 11th and 12th place. No wonder they can't get a sponsor. sergio 1,199
The theory that Hibs want to get relegated is growing arms and legs, it's something to think about. A clear out and play the kids as hearts are doing. some pretty fucking awful results hey have had, makes you think.

They are just awful. On the other hand the board may see it as a way to cut costs and ironically raise income as they will surely be challenging at the top of the Championship as opposed to struggling for top 6 or even fighting another relegation battle. IanFerguson2013 398
Now Hibs are in the play offs I can cross my fingers and home they go down. Having 3 major Scottish teams playing in the Championship will really mess up attendance figures for the Premiershit (spelling intended). Hearts & Hibs will still have their derby games and we get some big grounds capable of taking our away support nice & close to home.
Inigo 32,689
Great chance maybe to pump Hearts and Hibs a year earlier. All the season ticket shenanigans probably aint gonna help that though.
SpidermansGaffer 2,552
Aye, still think they'll scrape through the play-off.No way. More cash if they go down mate. Sporting integrity and all that...

bump 168
what we might see is attendances over the season higher than the premiership as possibly hibs and hearts derby along with big crowd at partick, falkirk, and maybe dunfermline, and ofcourse our huge travelling support wherever we play.these things will be looked at by sky and BT sport so maybe more telly games also but still think we could earn some cash by doing pay per play on our away fixtures with RTV. Grant_1986 73
Mind Petrie had a dig at Rangers at the Hibs AGM when he said that if they were to talk about clubs living within their means, Hibs were the 2nd most successful club in Scotland, behind Celtic.Karma's a wonderful thing. j1mgg 3,766
I hope hibs stay up as they will be more difficult for us than Hamilton. The play off is shit and there should be more chances for clubs to go up or down from the leagues.
AllyDawson72 213
I wouldn't mind Kilmarnock there either. A league of Rangers, Kilmarnock, Dunfermline, and Hearts would be a bit more like what we would be used to. I know they won't be top notch, but close enough to what we'll face in the top league.Apart from dunfermline the rest would cause us major problems.
