If he was actually any good at football I couldn't care less if he brought his granny and her dog to be honest. The problem is the man is totally useless as a footballer.

to be fair he had a couple of good performances near the end of the season.i think he could be a good player, but he will have to do it every week.

I really don't understand what is going on with this player. Silence from the Manager - no mention of him at all as far as I can see. Left behind in aftermath of the conclusion of last season. Off to a World Cup he didn't even play in - didn't even make the final squad as I recall it (injured). No return to Ibrox to the treatment table. No referral to a medical specialist if the injury needed specialist attention. Just a long long holiday. Why the special treatment?

Even if he returned next week he would not be fit, he wouldn't have pre-season training or pre-season matches. He'd rank so far behind for a starting place as to make it a near impossibility. Does he seriously think he his good enough to wander in, do some additional traning and expect to get a game anytime in the next few months. Does the Manager think he is good enough to slot back into first team contention after playing training catch up for a few weeks?

Right now he has all the appearance of being expensively paid baggage. It will take one hell of a shift from him to turn this around and demosntrate he is worthy of a first team place.

He's probably doing all the training he can in order to stay fit and get into the team. Unless he's decided to quit football. I don't think so, though.

Problem with ally signing these duds is no-one is willing to take them off our hands.

Quite farcical he was dubbed "Gattuso like" he's rotten, no doubt on a decent wage . And has the attitude of he can do whatever he wants . McCoist basically called him a liability when he got sent off against stenhousemuir (?) and he was desperate for a move away....

Very strange signing .

He was good against Dunfermline in the first half before he was shunted out wide then he was actually not bad against Dundee Utd in his preferred central role, got stuck right in. Our best young player Lewis MacLeod, the future of our midfield and he'll probably playing on the left all season to accommodate McCulloch. If our manager played players in the right positions eh... :D

he was an odd signing, perhaps a bit of a gamble on Ally's part?

he showed glimpses of form but they were few and far between (his goal v Dundee for one)

but generally speaking he was poor.

He also didn't really have the temperament to deal with the rough and tumble of playing in Scotland

At least he managed to get a grip on his south american style play acting whenever he was fouled: it was cringeworthy!
