Trooblue 1,983
Would be helpful if someone at Ibrox could inform all employees of the club that the provision of interviews/quotes/internal club information to the Daily Record will now be a disciplinary offence. There is no reason why we should be providing copy to a newspaper that has a financial relationship with Celtic FC and which seeks to undermine our club at every opportunity. Same formula could be used in relation to Spiers, Spence, McLaughlin and any other journalist that peddles lies and distortions designed to undermine Rangers. in each case, the 'press freedom' card will be played, but we are not preventing these characters from producing their stories - they will do that anyway - we are simply telling them that their 'reporting' will not be based on any cooperation from the club. WCPRANGERS1 2,997
Blaming Rangers was possibly a little strong. But he said Rangers fans were using the threats to point score & hide their own failings (or words to those effect)I think he said we were faux offended... B1872 21,082
Spiers is the number one person in the media for peddling the new club pish, he should've been banned for that alone.
buster. 1,114
Spiers did his calculated damage many years ago and he'll now use this and position himself as a martyr.Still, it's good that he now doesn't have the option of visiting Ibrox.#craphack

sandyinroyalblue 16,478
About 95% of journalists from the days of the vile Ian Archer to his modern equivalent Spiers have been Rangers hating bastards.
Heshootshescores 1,905
I have been critical of them in the past but hats off to RST for great response to BBC... Maybe even prompted the club to act. We have been subservient in the face of attack for far too long and it got us nowhere. Imagine if the disgraceful scenes at Fir Park had happened at Ibrox? Well no more. Hating Rangers in the media and national broadcaster is not acceptable. Whoever is banning the scrote that is Graham Spiers, should be applauded.
