  1. 1. How do you feel about him today?

    • He is a legend of the club and no animosity towards him from me. He was a great player and a poor manager, but at the end of the day he did have a contract and only did what most people would have done.
    • Despite the cost, it's over now and in the future I'm likely to remember him fondly as a fantastic player for us rather than his reign as manager and gardener
    • I'm likely to remember him as an awful Rangers manager and a leech more than a legendary top goalscorer.

After managing Rangers - where else would one go ?

Walter went to Everton, then took the Scotland job.

Advocaat went on to manage a host of international sides, plus clubs across Europe.

Mcleish took the Scotland job then moved to clubs down south.

Le Guen went to PSG

Can you see Ally being offered the Scotland job after Strachan? Or maybe taking on a job down south anywhere?

Where did Struth, Waddell, Greig and White go?

Where did Struth, Waddell, Greig and White go?

Struth managed the club for 34 years.

Waddell went upstairs so to speak.

Greig came back to the club in various roles.

White was at Dundee for 5 years.

He's a part time coach in a gig he held before coming to us.

So he still has a job in football then....

John Greig made a cunt of it as Rangers manager.

But Ally took making a cunt of it to a level none of us can comprehend, or forgive.

And taking the money, while basically refusing TO GET HIMSELF A NEW JOB, has killed stone dead his prior status among the fans.

I can only remember him for the many years he played for the club and the enjoyment he gave us, he is a Bear first and foremost.

Having said that I cannot forgive him for taking wages from the club and support after making the biggest fuck up of his career

He's still a decent guy deep down.

White took 3 years tp get a new job.

Greig worked as a pundit for 12 years before returning to the club.

So 2 that you mention there did actually manage other clubs and took them to success.

The other left with his head held high and let the dust settle.

He might very well be. He wouldn't be the first to have tried management, failed and made a career as a pundit. It worked for Greig.
