Part of me would love to see him here but my head tells me that he's not the solution. We dont really need a box predator as we have boyd. Our biggest priority is getting an attacking midfielder, this is what we are crying out for. Fowler is fantasy but unfortunately we are dealing in reality. Am not overly sure about Naismith tbh, I would much rather see Stevie Lennon in the squad first. blueben_d 40 Posted July 3, 2007 Share Posted July 3, 2007 sounds like our latest offer for naismith met the valuation, however we wanted to pay over 3 years and not up front. theres still scope for that move to happen.as for fowler i dont think WS is interested or we would have talked to Fowler by now, perhaps if we dont get naismith we will make our move but I do not think we will move for both, we have already signed JCD and gow who can play up front so we don't need 2 more.
