Laudrup1984 25,100 Posted April 11, 2016 Share Posted April 11, 2016 It's a tough one. As a fan I'd like Casey to be in the team and I think we're a better team with him in it. I also agree that in theory it should be the best 12 Europeans against the best 12 Americans. I also understand his primary reason for solely playing in America is for family reasons. However he only needs to play 5 European tour events or something like that outwith the Majors and WGC events. I don't think it's that big of an ask. It doesn't seem to affect many other players quite so much. The European tour has played a huge part in many of our greatest players career development over the years and they need, and IMO deserve a bit more support from our best players. Couldn't agree more. Was put in place to ensure European players stayed loyal to the home tour but Casey first high profile player to say no.
