BlueAvenger 10,289
He was one of our better players today, that's how fuckin bad we are.
simplythebest 11,453
Would have him and Wilson every week based on our four centre back options which isn't saying much but we have what we have for now
VladimirWeiss69 802
he isnt a bad centreback, yet we had some people saying he is the worst defender we have ever had. Good way to prove the doubters wrong!

Lee Wallace is the weak link, he's far too slow and needs to be dropped Not to mention that Wallace seems to be one legged aswell. At some point in the second half, he was on the left side , nearby Celtic box, instead of crossing the ball, he stopped, and while wondering what to do with the ball, started turning around on his right leg, and left one up in the air, looking for someone to pass. It was painful to watch.
Bad Robot 21,292
He done well today and hopefully more solid performances over the next few games.
smitzer007 198
Hill was very good today. Our successes last season came from having a potent threat down both flanks. I found it strange that today he tinkered with the right side, although Tav and Hodson both did well, cause the left side had been poor all season. Both Wallace and McKay need dropped! Turnberry18 3,204
I remember thinking he was one of the worst signings I'd ever seen when he first arrived, but he is easily our best defender. Ironically, it was the match against Kilmarnock where he showed improvement even though we gave away that goal. He acts and speaks like a leader. I think the reasoning for the tinkering down that right hand side was more to do with the bheggars threat. For all that Wallace and McKay were poor, lustig and the willy flasher didnt offer much. We strengthen that side and we could take advantage of that.
BlueboyG 5,255
I thought Hill and Kiernan were both excellent today, I also thought McKay,Windass & Halliday were gash, our subs were shite as well when they came on, no guts in the team, we were fuckin bossed all over the park. onefootwillie 1,518
Hill and Wilson would be my CB pairing. They will do this season . I have to agree Wallace was the weak link in defence today
MasterD 7,436
He done well getting in blocks and last minute tackles, the defence as a whole done OK, however I think perhaps with the keeper keeping the score down it's made them seem a bit better than they actually were though. If they scored the goal in the first half Gilks saved with his leg, the goal they had chopped off, dembele mishit inside the box, thumbs miss when 1 on 1 with Gilks then it's a different story and the defence would be getting pelters. Turnberry18 3,204
It never sits easy with me when I'm critical of Lee Wallace, but I do think his positional sense could be better.
