I have two German friends. Bochum and rangers fans. They got it sang at them in the Bristol and loved it.

Lighten up

It's the new craze to be offended by anything, beats me how some people survive leaving the house.

Obviously not the kind of person to be offended by a song.

Northern Ireland fans sing it as well ...its pish.

Yes but we only sing it due to its factual historical content, during  the blitz in london anti aircraft guns in london, coventry and belfast were manned by gunners drawn from northern ireland these men were later to land in monte cassino and a large amount of sorties flown by the RAF were from bases scattered along the north down coast, so the RAF from ulster did shoot them down as per the words of the song

Yes because that's exactly what I said.

Youre the fucking moron, crying because  football supporters might offend Germans.

If that's what your grandparents got up to the least you can expect is some gentle rubbing by football fans.

And can you explain exactly why it would antagonise then?

Aren't most normal British people extremely proud of the RAF and their vital role in liberating Europe? Surely shooting down German bombers who were doing their best to murder civilians and break the will of the British people is something to be remembered and celebrated?

Depends where you go. The people of Dresden don't exactly hold the RAF in high regard.

The people of dresden shoudl have thought about that before allowing a crack pot to take over there country unopposed, it was a war, shit happens in a war and dresden as a result is a very modern city

Most young Germans are embarrassed by what their forefathers did during the wars. Our forces part in that should and never will be forgotten.
