NeoGeo7 10,594
Am I the only one that thinks the formation was nothing to do with the result? Players bottled it after the equaliser and no formation in the world is going to change that. The equaliser was nothing to do with the formation but rather the complete lack of urgency and awareness by our centre back. When we played wingers and full backs against Livingston and pinged crosses into a packed box people said we needed a 10 to unlock teams like this. Drop Candeias as he’s only good when we are the underdogs many would say, we’ll Gerrard did this tonight and while Kent isn’t a natural 10 we were getting a lot of joy in the firs 20 mins, lots of good one touch passing and creating space. The equaliser changed everything, our players looked bereft of confidence and a general ability to play football while their players were revitalised and the fans were vocal. People are reacting as if last night was the first time we have seen this type of performance all season. MasterD
Prso's headband 35,717
Absolute pish. McGregor is a goalie- can play for years to come. McCauley is 3rd/4th choice so is a back up. Davis and Defoe are the experienced heads getting on a bit. Having Arfield in there is laughable he’ll be here and playing for at least another 3 seasons ElBufalo20

The problem is you can't play them all in the same team in a game like that. Away from home, lack of game time for McAuley, defoe and Davis, a killie team playing well, plastic pitch... It was the wrong decision.

Which then begs the question why did we sign Defoe ? Certainally not to sit on bench with the wages he costs. So are we cashing in on Alfie? Is Defoe the sweetener ? How can drop Mcrorrie after the old firm game is baffling

So makes no difference. I personally would’ve started McCrorie
