Cousin is no better than what we have in the squad, imo, and not motivated to be a ranger. ok, i would prefer we didnt jump at the money for hutton - but form can be a very temporary thing, and £9m can buy us alot of quality,. whittaker is very capable imo. I'm sure there are targets in our radar but then put yourself in their shoes, say the agreement between ourselves and Spurs was agreed in principle then we find out they come into a bit of money (say the sale of Berbatov for 35mill) would you as a business person (or Bain) not try and get some more for the player we were looking to sell.
