radlord 24
What's Footylatest? Judging by this: Glasgow Rangers are trying to finalize Kris Boyd's transfer to Birmingham soon enough to reinvest the money in Portsmouth's John Utaka. The proposed deal for Boyd is thought to be of £4 million. The international Scotsman has been doing great with both his international side and with the club, scoring 7 goals in 15 games for Scotland and 70 goals in 96 games for rangers since 2006. Rangers are forced to wait for the money to arrive before they can bid for Utaka. They have also been forced to put a deal for Sporting Lisbon's Tonel on hold for the same financial reasons. Rangers are finding it hard to offload the players they want to, with the likes of Madjid Bougherra uninterested in leaving the club, despite the approach made by several clubs from both England and France. ... my granny could make up better rumours than this. And she's thick as fuck.

Stardog 11
We don't NEED to raise £3m. That was made up crap that you all bought into as usual because it helped you hate Murray a little bit more. Direct quote from Murray: "There has been a lot of mischievous reporting in the last week - but we are not going to go bankrupt. We are working within our overdraft facility." "Frankly, it is immaterial whether he stays or goes as far the long-term financial future of the club is concerned. The Boyd situation is simple. We received an offer that we believed, collectively, Walter Smith, manager and Martin Bain, chief executive represented good business."
