TunnyLoyal 1,136
I didn't even know he was still playing!
papaguy51 941
Decent keeper, even at 35/36. He was sensational at one point, surprised he didn't move on after being dropped for Cech.
Muff 245
I think it's a good bit of buisness by Redknapp.
papaguy51 941
No worse than that Alnwick. Not been impressed one bit by him so far.
dezrfc1 26
should be a good signing
blyth 3
Finally a decent signing for Spurs. Cudicini was outstanding a few years back and would have walked into most teams in the Premiership. An infinitely better option that Alnwick, and far less prone to howlers than Gomes. Good signing.
WatfordRangers 0
gomes has improved recently but cudicini was never a bad keeper to begin with.
EastEnclosureBear 3,022
Redknapp is a very intelligent man, good signing on Spurs behalf, this may make Gomes a better keeper. but I don't know what he see's in Chimbonda.
ManchestGer 351
Probably one of Spurs' better signings. Getting him on a free is a great deal
Jeff crap in the head 120
Fantastic signing by Arry

Ibroxblue 131
Redknapp is a very intelligent man, good signing on Spurs behalf, this may make Gomes a better keeper. but I don't know what he see's in Chimbonda. 'Arry's taking a few players back to Spurs: Chimbonda, Defoe, rumours about Robbie Keane. Reports that he's approached Richard Gough, Gordon Durie and Graham Roberts are as yet unconfirmed. papaguy51 941
He'll be good backup to Gomes, but I can't see him being any more than that. Cudicini has only managed 24 games in 4 years after all.
Klos 39
Cant beleive its taken him this long to move on, an absolutely outstanding keeper in his day and should still be one of the best in the premiership, has been wasted on Chelsea's bench. Might kick Gomes' arse into gear too, beleive it or not he was hero worshipped back in Holland with PSV, their fans were even rating him higher than the likes of Buffon and Cech! So surely he has a lot more to offer than what he showed in his disasterous start to the premiership.

Was nicknamed 'The Octopus' because he managed to get some incredible hands to shots that looked in all the way. I think he'll come good when he learns to stay on his line a bit more, but he was struggling to cope with the long ball British tactics for a while. Still pulls off at least one world class save in every game mind you.
Goianegra 4,710
Pointless... what does that oaf NOT see in Gomes.
Klos 39
Pointless... what does that oaf NOT see in Gomes. Redknapp is the guy who rates David James after all!!! Fair enough on form James is up there with the best of them, but over the course of a season he would definately be one of the premierships worst keepers.
