I don't usually go for the whole ex-players thing but I think he has proved himself a good manager this season and could well have what it takes to make the step up

McCoist stepped up and won us the league. And horsed McCall's outfit as I recall. From three divisions away.

I'm inclined to agree although I do think that Stuart has done a good job and should be considered.

It may actually be better to have a home grown manager because it will be so long until we are back in European football (in football 3 years in a long time)

Ally will not be replaced any time soon. We will not be spending any extra cash. If we get into SPL in a few years then fail to win that will be the time when a board and a fanbase will make a change. Waste of time even talking about it unless half way through division 2 Ally makes an mess of things.
