NorthernLights 2,526
Fine with me. Hasn't looked himself this season. Not sure Racing Santander is a great standard in terms of international hopes, though.

Boboblack 4
Wouldnt bother me, both him and Goian looked like they couldnt be arsed when we went down to the 3rd Div! Get some youngsters in to prove themselves!
Rangers Rob 29
Just read on twitter he has agreed terms.Did some searching on Twitter after I came across the above link and the first mention of Boca to Racing was 16 hours ago, almost all Tweets were in Spanish until the last hour or so when people here and over there began to catch wind. EastEnclosureBear 2,923
Not really bothered, looks disinterested now. Rather give Ross Perry or Chris Hegarty a game.
ThatNightInFlorence 696
Can't blame him if he does decide to go. At his age he will want to feature for his country as much as he can.A defence of McGowan Perry Emilson Wallace would do me anyway

What alot of shite if he wants to go why not just be honest about it.He's been utter shite since the start of the season everyone knows he doesn't want to be here. Rather give Ross Perry or Chris Hegarty a game.Never knew he was a defender? I don't think we will give a game even if bocanegra does go. I think McCoist will try and bring in another defender. ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
Would still miss him despite a shakey start to the seasonHe was shite last night again but made up for it a couple of times by winning the ball back a couple of times. But there's no point having players here if they don't want to be here.

But there's no point having players here if they don't want to be here.If there is anyone i'd trust to be utterly professional once the window closed, it'd be Carlos Bocanegra. He's had a poor start to the season, but i'd suggest that getting the season going without a pre-season might become tougher the older you get. Carlos is a good age at 33. Thought he did fine last night personally. A couple of errors but a decent 90 minutes for me.

What alot of shite if he wants to go why not just be honest about it.He's been utter shite since the start of the season everyone knows he doesn't want to be here.Don't watch Spanish football but would guess that the 2nd division in Spain is a much higher level than SFL3. He's always said that he loves it in Glasgow and has always spoken highly of the club, like I said it was likely pressure from the USMNT coach. I'm not expecting a foreign player who has been here for a year to give up his longstanding role as captain of the national team to stay and play semi-pro clubs week after week, he has to make the decisions that are best for him and I understand that. Rangers Rob 29
Have just heard a rumor that Watford might be in for him too, nothing behind it though unlike the Racing story.

Shane 338
Gaining momentum in the Spanish press, though it may be a product of both AS and Marca reporting it in various outlets and everyone else following suit.

Shane 338
Our new friend David in Spain just told us: Roughly translates to "RACING signings recap today: Bocanegra (Rangers) Jorge Alonso (Valladolid)."
terry739 267
I dunno why I thought he was a defender, he's a midfielder. Hegarty played CB against Linfield at Windsor Park and played RB last week!! He's a defender!!
