Anchorman 85
If they continue sanctions against us should we tell them to forget any thoughts of offering up Ibrox as a venue for their joint bid for Euro2020? Cheeky bastards!!
Senna 735
I'd tell them to remove their sanctions and fines, or remove Ibrox from any plans.
Brian Fantana 28,894
do you really think Green will turn down the potential millions he could get from being a host stadium? take their money, let them use ibrox and we the fans will continue to punish the cunts with boycotting. we get their cash, they don't get ours :tu:
scottyc06 6,916
Add a few conditions to the contract, £s for every goal, % of ticket sales, all revenue gained inside the stadium goes to the club etc. also put a big walloper of a fee in their aswell! Play these cunts at their own game!
JCS 649
Much as I thoroughly detest Regan, the SFA and their fellow travellers at the SPL, it would be extremely shortsighted to dcline the opportunity to host games because the income could be quite significant. In any event I suspect that the reasons for our refusal would be totally lost in the midst of the 2020 clamour. HHB 63
I would tell them to GTF.When did the SFA ever propose Ibrox as a venue for a European final when it was the only 5 star stadium in Scotland? They are happy to use us when it is convenient and then feck us over at every opportunity. The time for being reasonable is past. Captain Hilts 12,819
the bids arnt to be handed in for another 18 months anyway. things might be sorted out with the SFA by then...... (doubt it though )
Spacecowboy 92
This must be the pettiest, short sighted suggestion ever made on the reacent outcomes lately. For using our stadium bring in much needed cash at a time our stadium is doing nothing and its not as if we would hamper any decision of the tourney ever coming here as they would just invest cash into another stadium to bring it up to spec.By taking part we would benifit from the obvious cash generated and we would also be eligable for grants to do the staudium up. all good things IMO. By not taking part the only people to lose out would be us, while everyone around us jumps on the band wagon and accepts the riches that comes with it.There is no need to cut our noses off to spite our face and should ride any idea of making money to the fullest, The benefits are far to great not to.we have to chose our battles more carefully to exert maxium potential with minimal loss for us. Rfc#1. 1,877
I don't think Mr.G is the type to turn down cash. I'd like to tell them to gtf but we probably shouldn't refuse cash to use the stadium if it's sitting empty at the time.
