  1. Fee has been agreed, he was doing his celtic medical when he got the call from his agent, so binned off the medical and has his Liverpool medical tomorrow.
  2. Totally agree about Ojo tonight, his lack of big game experience was there for all to see, he will be better for that tonight, he has only played something like 50 senior games in his career so far and none as important as that.
  3. The vast majority of young Catholics do opt for NI, but you will get some who are from a more Republican background who don't want to play for NI, which is fair enough, its the lads who use the NI system right up to u21 level and then switch that do my head in.
  4. Davis, Jones & Morelos IMO. I think Jones will be a cert to start on Sunday with him being used to playing on plastic pitches most weeks for the last few years.
  5. Klopp is under contract to 2022 and the club want him to sign a 3 year extension or even longer if he wants it, preliminary talks have been held with his agent. There is every chance the Liverpool job might not be available till 2025 at the earliest.
  6. TNS are far better than teams in the Scottish Juniors, they would be the equivalent of a bottom of the table Championship side or top of the table League 1 side and their players mostly wouldn't give a shit about the Old Firm so wouldn't be like most Scottish teams that would have at least a tarrier or two in them who would be out to hurt our players.
  7. £74 million for approx 9,000 extra seats
  8. It is, but Killie couldn't use it as a training ground like they currently do. Thats one of the main reasons that they have no interest in changing to a grass pitch as they would then have to build a training ground and where are they going to find a minimum of £5-10 million to fund it.
  9. If loads on here have fits about Tavs defending, i can only imagine the reactions afer watching Moreno a few times.
  10. Delighted Flanno has been cleared, as for Barry Ferguson he can go fuck himself with his shitty article having a go at the club for appealing it. Most of our ex-players involved with the media are a disgrace, happy to slag off the club for to earn a few quid from a newspaper, no doubt they still have their hand out for freebie tickets from the club when the big games come around.
  11. At what successful club is there that type of manager? the PL top 6 has Sarri, Emery, Klopp, Pochetino, Solskjaer & Guardiola, not one of them will go into a changing room and start smashing shit, or calling the players all the names under the sun, Real Madrid? Barcelona? Bayern Munich? Juventus? nope. The only place you will get the odd manager who acts that way is in the lower leagues. The game has changed and its sad because a right good bollocking and smashing a few cups is exactly whats needed for some of them.
  12. The game has moved on from those days, if Souness or Smith went into a changing room nowadays and acted like that the players would simply just down tools and eventually get him sacked. The days of going nuts at players are over and thats why Gerrard stayed away from the players as he would have completely lost it.
  13. It will depend on two things; What Kent wants and who comes in for him. If Kent makes it clear he wants to stay here then that would force Liverpools hand a little. If a deal is to happen I don't see it being done until the end of pre-season. From the Liverpool point of view i would imagine they would hope to get him out on loan to a PL team which would increase his value for a potential sale the following summer, plans were supposedly in place to loan Harry Wilson to Leicester next season to see how he performs as PL level and to raise his value but with Brenda now there the plug has been pulled on it.
  14. Very simply because Rangers informed the IFA he was fit and to make matters worse for Lafferty he came off the bench for 3 minutes on Sunday in a game that was dead, do you honestly think Rangers would have risked him playing if he was carrying a bad injury? The achilles issue he has had apparently from September and has been playing with it as it doesn't bother him too much, now if he had decided that he wanted to use the international break to rest it, then pull out of the squad when the club is informed of his inclusion or when the squad is publically released by the IFA. If he wants to retire then do that, then everyone knows were they stand.
  15. Then bloody retire and don't mess people about. These were my comments about Flanagan, i don't see anything in there that is pish.
  16. Not true, Michael O'Neill has finally run out of patience with him, he has had more chances with NI and continues to act the dick, he knew what he was doing pulling out of the squad at midnight, knowing that the NI doctor wouldn't get a chance to access his "injury", he left O'Neill right in the shit with Washington and Boyce injured for the Austria game. I have no sympathy for him the IFA are right to invoke the 5 day rule. If he wants to retire from NI duty then do that rather than make up injuries to get out of playing.
  17. We can happily debate about Katic vs Worrall all day long, but isn't it great to be in this position, last season we couldn't have made a decent defender out of all of them put together, Cardoso, Alves, Bates & Martin, some serious shite was cleared out this summer.
  18. This lad has had an interesting experience of Ibrox.
  19. His da is one of them, check his timeline, pictured with the lego muncher.
  20. I actually watched the Preston v Wigan game today, saying he was shite was being kind to him, the huge ego is still there, thinking he is Messi when on the ball and doing nothing with it, i had to laugh at how angry the Wigan fans were getting with him, three times Wigan broke with him on the ball in a 3v2 situation and the three times he played a pass straight to a Preston defender, thanks for the few million Wigan.
  21. It doesn't allow the foreign lads to hide and it puts pressure on them to improve their English.
  22. You are correct, i'll list a few players of similar status that Liverpool have sold over the last few seasons Brad Smith - Bournemouth - £3 million + another £3 million in add-ons Kev Stewart - Hull - £4.5 million + another £3.5 million in add-ons Andre Wisdom - Derby - £2 million + another £2.5 million in add-ons Jerome Sinclair - Watford - £4 million Sergi Canós - Norwich City - £2.5 million + another £1.5 million in add-ons I don't see Ejaria or Kent getting close to the Liverpool team next season, if they were available for sale the biggest problem could be English clubs coming in with big money bids which we couldn't match. If Liverpool are prepared to work with Rangers because of the Gerrard factor you could see a deal worked out with maybe significant add-ons, a high sell on clause percentage or a buy back clause which is something Liverpool like to normally include in deals for youner players.
  23. One main reason - playing in the Champions League, they picked up huge numbers of followers from other teams they played in the group stages, a large number of whom never unfollowed them, i seen the same thing happen when Liverpool were out of the Champions League for many seasons and other EPL Champions League teams followers were growing at a far faster rate and when you look at these new followers they were fans of other teams.
  24. Vastly experienced player who is a good communicator and is strong in the air, i wouldn't worry to much about him being 38, he started playing football alot later than most and doesn't have the same wear and tear that a normal 38 year old would have. When Pulis was at WBA he described him as a fitness freak who could easily play into his 40's, his fitness numbers were that of an early 30's player rather than that of a late 30's player. A good signing as a backup.
