Pressure is definitely more on us. They’ve already chucked their point gap, it’s on us to prove we are worthy of actually going on to win it now

Nice of the ref to stop the game, and the players to join in as well.

For sure. Can't believe the Parker we see now is the same guy who lost to Joyce. Some transformation but not convinced he would beat AJ right now, but the form they are both in it would be an epic. Some amount of match ups potentially for the heavyweight belts right now.

I'd love to see Joshua v parker again. I think it be a cracker and credit to Andy Lee for transforming his career. I think he's a fantastic trainer.

He’s so far off match fitness & sharpness, three months out is too much to ask in any game never mind this one.

Reckon Diomande is exactly the player we want in midfield for this. It will be 100mph and he’s got the ability and confidence to take the ball under pressure.
Yes we need to mark McGregor but we can’t just forget to play our own football.

Wardley fighting with a broken nose for 11 rounds was pretty mental tbh!

BookWorm reacted to RealWorldRich in Scott Wright's Disallowed Goal
I know there is a thread on the officials today but I feel this decision in particular needs a thread if it's own - it's truly astonishing.
Firstly, to call a player with his foot on the line of the box as "encroachment" may well be technically true, I'd challenge anyone to find a single penalty in football this season that didn't have a player (from either team) with at least a toe on the line as they sprint into the box. In practical terms, this law is essentially unenforceable if you apply VAR to toenails like we do with offsides.
But there's a bigger problem with this one, and it relates to the specific outcome of an indirect freekick.
If a penalty is missed and there is encroachment by the defending team, or by BOTH attacking and defending teams, the outcome is a retake.
If a penalty is missed and the keeper was off his line, the outcome is a retake.
So, in summation, look at the still image above - to arrive at a conclusion of a Hins Freekick the VAR team had to conclude, with certainty - that 1. The Keeper is on his line, 2. Scott Wright is IN the box & 3. No Hibs player is in the box or D.
How... how can that be!? How can that possibly be the conclusion!? If you look at the still above, if Wright is in the box by virtue of his foot being on the line, then FOUR hibs players are in the box. It also looks like Marshall is probably off his line (by the same fine margins applied to Scott Wright).
I'm at a total loss with this decision, it's scandalous, an outrage.
Now... VAR intervened to give the penalty in the first place so I don't think it's anything sinister like bias or corruption, but how they possibly arrived at a Hibs Freekick for this one, I'm perplexed.
