Christ, you’d forget how young he is and where he’d played before Rangers. He speaks like a pro twice his age. Spoke brilliantly and avoided all the media traps set out for him from the start.

Who’d have thought he’d be our best centre half this season? And it’s not because he’s the best of a bad bunch. He shown his quality time and time again. The “shite with the ball at his feet” stuff has become a meme at this point. I wouldn’t encourage him to play like Bougherra but he’s as solid as we’ve had for a centre half defensively in a long time.

He’s becoming a big physical presence too. He’s definitely hit the weights all season. The difference in him between now and when Warburton brought him in is crazy.
