Not sure that would stand up if we tried that as an argument in court. If they 'can have the league' by definition they are champions.

That’s shite, these are not normal times, what if we were only 6 or so points behind, they don’t need to be awarded a title, league winners by default as it stands.

Just dangling a carrot that’ll come to nothing. There’s no chance in hell the SPFL/SFA can organise a league restructure, in the midst of a global pandemic with no visibility of when the new season will start. Presumably just enough to keep Hearts sweet for the time being

Ironically that carrot has the 90% vote for changes to the Premiership.

Noone is saying they are normal times. If they were normal times, we'd play out all 38 games. We won't though.

Absolute wank of a guy. Honestly.

I think you get a wee semi acting like this on here.

Allocating prize money and European spots based on current positions is fine.  That way we can draw a line under this season.  But no way should celtic be crowned champions.

Clubs new season ticket sales pitch

“Come on buy your season ticket for the new exciting corrupt season of football”

”Imagine this. 20 games in and we are sitting top, just pray for another pandemic or WW3 and that title could be ours”

Now it might sound stupid but not as stupid as it actually fucking happening.

How can you seriously say you won something you DIDNT win?

Corrupt as fuck.

Implementing a rule to shaft us based on hearts and us voting a particular way on this. The rule's been in place on votes since SPFL started in 2013.

That's what I'm asking , what rule ?

The hardest steps to take in sport are the last ones towards the finishing line. 10 points behind(if gih was won)with 2 old firms to go, who knows how the season would have ended.

We wouldn't have had 2 titles. No one gave us a hope on the 2 helicopter Sundays.

Comebacks happen.

This wasn't won, this isn't a title win.

Even in 2011 we needed celtic to lose to an awful Inverness side

That's EXACTLY what this is about given the rule that specifies champions are the one in number one position at the end of the season. This proposal ends 3 leagues, or 4 including ours all bar waiting a short period of time.

Theres certain things that require the 90% vote, others require a 75% one.

Ironically the spfl entwined into this proposal  the carrot of league reconstruction (one which premier league invokes the 90% pass mark) amongst this one which is a 75% vote.

Fucking snakes.

Any proposed reconstruction would still have to go to a vote to be implemented.
