Nearly every Spanish team will dominate possession against us, its the fact they haven't dont much with it thats the positive
We need more belief in ourselves when on the ball

Any player that chucks it for a crucial game because of the manager can follow that manager right out the door.

Gets me everytime, I'm glad what happened at kick off was edited out.
Club was in a shite place at the time, people didn't want to attend games, but we all turned out for him that day, even seen people that don't regularly attend games come out for it.

Apart from Butland he's the one of the summer signings that I think will prove to be a very good player for us in time.

Rangers try to play the same way as every successful team in the world does. Barisic is NOT the only full-back that plays balls backward. Walker does, TAA does, I could go on... The name of the game these days is possession.
The problem I have is we are trying too many long balls. Under Gerrard, we did not do that.
To me, that's where the problem lies. There is a disconnect between the defence and midfield to the point that Lundstram comes so deep, he takes the ball from a center half. For me, it's negative football. We are better, or at least should be better than that.
Release the handbrake on Thursday at home. They are there for the taking based on current results.
Instead, I fear we will respect and take a cautious approach. It's wrong. Attack, we are at home!!!

You’ve rumbled me, I’ve no idea where Ibrox is.
Got a season ticket in CD2, been to every European away game for the past few years (including Seville), already booked up Cyprus, Prague and Seville (again) and came back from Perth yesterday.
Would be interested to know how many games you’ve been to in the past few years, compared to a “dick” like me?

Says a lot about Beale that the first goal came from a guy he’s had benched until now, and the other goal came from someone he was trying to punt in the summer.
I could forgive a crap performance like that if it was the exception, unfortunately for us it’s the norm. Play like that against a half-decent side and we drop points. St. Johnstone are fucking awful, I’ve no idea how they walked away from Parkhead with a point.
The late goal we scored papers over the fact we dropped right out of the game for long periods, and in those periods better teams have taken advantage (PSV and Celtic). Even in supposedly “comfortable” victories like Livi at home and Ross County away, we had lengthy spells of doing fuck all and being fortunate not to concede.
My only hope for Thursday is that Betis have an off night or can’t be arsed with the Europa League, otherwise it could be a painful one.

The celtic defender wasn't in control of it, he made an arse of it, he was looking for a forward pass and by the time Dessers got close enough he turns in a panick trying to play it back to the keeper.  Dessers in that moment of uncertainty from the defender done as he was supposed to and got into the space between man and ball.  It's brilliant forward pressing play.  The celtic defender was unable to pass the ball because an opposing player got into the space between man and ball without touching him.  That's football.  You can't then kick someone in the back of the calf and claim you are the one that's fouled.

The margin of error on offside has to be much greater than 1cm.  For example a striker in full sprint recieving a pass, the difference of being on or off can come down to the video frame chosen.  The passers contact with the ball will occupy a few frames.

You could swap us with Motherwell and the game wouldn’t have looked much different. Total lack of quality except the goal.

    It's pathetic.
I would have more respect for him if he just once admitted that he's made a mistake. The team selection and tactics for especially the first half against the scum were an abomination.
If he held his hands up and admitted he tried something and got it wrong and it didn't work out then he'd go up a notch in my opinion.
That would put him at notch one.

I think he needs to beat Betis to show he can win big games, any slip up in the league against Diddy teams and he is toast.

Btw, seeing that bottom row laid out like that and thinking about what has happened in that time is really, really depressing.
You sort of live thinking that it's just us and them that are challenging for trophies because that's what you've been used to for almost your whole life; but that's just not true now, and it hasn't been for a while. We're not a serious threat to them. We're a club who win a trophy every now and then at best, and there are no signs that that will change anytime soon.
    It's really fucking grim.

Getting a Wales call-up again after not being selected for a while
Fair play to him. Hopefully this is the confidence boost he needed to get back to playing well - it would be a welcome boost if we could rely on him
