Poor passes, poor finishing, poor touches, poor decisions - it all stems from them shrinking in the face of adversity.

You find out a lot about a team when they're facing adversity. They are consistently found wanting in the face of adversity, lacking character, composure and decisiveness in the big moments.

Come on Rangers, get it over the line.

Decent read
Obviously any win will do tonight in the grand scheme of things. Still, seeing some signs of us returning to the sort of solidity that severely limited opposition shots on goal is important to restore some faith that the wider fan base has clearly lost.

Could’ve said a lot of sound bites that weren’t him saying it was ‘good’ in any way
Unacceptable, let the fans down, need to do better, can’t afford performances like that, do everything we can to win all the remaining games etc. Any of those responses I’d have just said yeah fine generic stuff you’d expect but what he said is just total garbage
Aye, I think it's an indicator that a. he's not really been in a title fight in his career and b. whoever is briefing the players on what to say doesn't know either.
Should be a straight forward "We let the fans down, we have 6 league games to make it right", "We have 6 league games to show it was a blip" etc etc.

Wasn't a good fit here, hopefully this run of form means he's easier to move on in the summer and we can forget about Beale's shambolic rebuild.
-
I'd go with this:
Butland
Tav Balogun Souttar Ridvan
Sterling Lundstram
McCausland Cantwell Sima
Dessers
Suspect the manager will go with something like this:
Butland
Tav Goldson Souttar Ridvan
Lawrence Lundstram
Sterling Cantwell Sima
Dessers
If Ridvan isn't fit, Borna will probably play.
Game can't come quick enough, still in a bit of shock tbh.

Well there’s a chance mate I’ve just got to believe. Has to start by beating Dundee and comfortably.
ive had lots of thoughts over the last 16 hours or so. The players do need some blame but clement needs to pick his best side. Dowell from nowhere starting was wild, last weeks team was pretty wild as well. He’s imo not showing respect to the other teams by thinking he can fanny about keeping players for other games etc. we aren’t good enough to not start our strongest side. We should have enough to beat county but we’ve seen it far too many times over the years we need our strongest side out, some of our squad players would only be squad players at the other teams in the league and that should never be the case.
im deflated as fuck but it’s still possible and until another set of dropped points with them winning happens then I’ll just need to keep hoping
Aye, sums up where I'm at with it. I don't see the point in turning up to Ibrox already being defeated, got to believe something will happen.
We're so open in the middle of the park. I think it's been noticeable since Sterling was moved out of there/injured IMO, but our defensive record was strong for the first few months of Clement as well and now it has regressed massively.
We simply can't let them off the hook by dropping off though. Got to regroup.

I really can’t see us winning it now mate but whilst there’s a chance then what’s the point in just giving up?
Thank fuck there's people who actually think this way.

Can't lie to myself. Its pointless.
Aye I get it, I'm pretty numb after that result. I expected both sides to drop points in the run in, but I really hoped it would be them that did it first. But at this stage, if we all turn up thinking that way then it isn't going to help matters. But it's all raw right now.
10 minutes ago, The Godfather said:It's hope more than belief, certainly not trust. If you trust this lot your are mental
Aye, more trust that the manager can find a way. Last few weeks gave undermined the trust in him though. But we don't really have any other choice at this point.

Do you honestly believe that?
I'd someone had a gun to my head and I had to pick a team to play them to get a win or they'd blow my brains out, I'd pick Killie or Hearts before I'd pick us.
I'd probably blow my own fucking brains out before the game finished if I picked us tbf.
Simply have to trust/believe that we will beat them and win the remaining games. Nothing else can be done with 6 games to go.

Imagine us probably being 1 point behind come Thursday morning and 99% of us all know we still won't win the league.
That alone tells the story about these players bottle, attitude and ability.
It is one of those games where you can tell they're off it quite quickly from the way they pass. Not had to mention it for a while but whenever the passes start going behind players and the ball is bobbling about under their feet with several touches, it's usually a sign that players are retreating into their shells. You hope at half time the manager can maybe instil some calm and get us back on track again, but the opposite happened.
On a tangent here but semi-related: I had a pop at @Stunels earlier in the thread at half time because I didn't really think the "serial loser" chat was fair when we were winning 1-0. We could all see it was a poor performance, but I thought it was premature to be hitting out with that while we were winning. Sadly, it's turned out to be the case. A real bad one.

celebrating a point last week tells me a lot
I thought that was a bit shite as well. Tbf though, I can see why the manager was trying to gee up the crowd, we need everyone pulling in the same direction for the final push - but it's fair to say it's the players who are the only ones pulling in the wrong direction in recent weeks.

Dreadful since Hibs in the cup. Shouldn't be getting a new deal regardless.

Clement can be raging all he wants, but he is equally to blame for starting Dowell ahead of Sterling.
It's pretty noticeable how poor we've been off the ball since Sterling has moved out of that position.

The defence (and the whole team) were poor today but special shout for the two centre mids Lundstram and Dowell who did nothing when we went forward and were nowhere for the first two goals. Lawrence equally as pathetic for the third. Absolutely killed us.

Actually fucking beeling at Lundstram. That's totally unacceptable man.
Been brutal.

Midfield at both goals. Nowhere.

6 wins and a result at the dump is all I ask for!
Something we are more than capable of.

Manager deserves criticism for his decisions and tactics in the last six weeks. I think post match comments should generally be taken with a pinch of salt, but I think it shows him up as being a bit rattled.
Maybe not so much by the race, but more how badly we've imploded.
