  1. I doubt if what we have is good enough to win the league. I still think we will bring in 2 or 3 more players but don't know if we can find any real quality in the bargain basement.
  2. This is hopefully the start of the end for SDM but before we all get carried away just because J T has been given a seat does not mean that all members of the RSA will move to the RST. I could be wrong but I believe JT was appointed as head of the Assembly by SDM, if so what is to say that SDM will not just appoint someone else. I just hope to hear of lots of people joining us in the RST.
  3. "Scumbag idiotic moron. Who I hope gets a career ending injury. I never want to see him in the US top again. Fucking scumbag piece of shit." Probably one of the Oirish IRA loving scum from the North East of the USA.
  4. Obviously it will depend on the draw but I think we will be better than 90% of the teams in the 2nd round and 60%-70% of the teams in the 3rd round. I think it's worth a few quid.
  5. This may have been true pre JJB deal. Since then they are doing a much better job of merchandising and we have gone backwards without doubt.
  6. I believe we will be a much improved team next season, too good for Hearts and the rest and good enough to chalenge the scum of this year. It simply depends on weather or not they improve as to weather or not we will win the SPL.
  7. The problem with staying in the bargain basement you end up waisting a lot of what you little you do have. I would rather see us signing 1 or 2 quality players and giving some of our youth players a chance than signing 6 players in the 500,000 to 1.5 million bracket who 9 out of 10 don't cut it.
  8. Steven Smith or Alan Hutton for me.
  9. Laudrup different class. McCoist so many goals against them Goram Amazing individual performance.
  10. Can anyone remember the other 2 Rangers players who were carried off that day. I remember us being down to 9 men at one point (4 players off) but McCoist came back on after getting his head stitched up.
  11. I'm sorry I was not around to answer your aggressively phrased question in person but I'm afraid with the time difference I was fast asleep dreaming of better days for our club. Frankie did an admirable job in answering for me. Indeed my pet peeve is the Albion car park purchased by PPG from RFC for approximately 750,000 pounds which is pretty close to the annual income from the property. In the time since that asset was sold PPG have made 2-3 million pounds gross income and obviously retain ownership of the Albion which will also have increased in value by quite a bit. This sale to me was certainly not in RFC's best interest. EH and Azure are along the same lines as the income from them after the sale still found it's way to Mr Murray. JJB is a little different, as far as I know Mr Murray has no connection with them but it's still a club asset we are missing. Murray park can't be classed as an asset gained in the same sense as RFC did not purchase this on the cheap from one of Mr Murray's other companies. It was financed from the ground up by RFC.
  12. If you've read any of my posts on Murray you will see I probably hate him as much as you. I just think that Boyd is over rated. If you look at the season before he came to Ibrox Wee Novo scored almost as much as Boyd scored this season but put in much more work making goals for others and guess what. We won the league.
  13. He has put 56 million in but taken a hell of a lot out with his asset stripping. He would probably sell for around 45 million.
  14. Ferguson 3-4 million. We would struggle to get 2 million for anyone else.
  15. Any offer over 2 million, I'd bite their hand off.
  16. The league was over when Walter took over. We beat the scum twice once when they were 18 points clear and the other when they had already clinched the league. Look at our performances after we clinched 2nd spot. Don't get carried away we have a long way to go to climb out of this mess and the quality of our performances since Walter took over have really only improved at center half.
  17. If Bain had any wit about him he will be asking NARSA for help with this when he is over for the convention in 3 weeks time. I would expect 50 or so of the NARSA affiliated clubs to be in attendance and I for one intend to ask him about overseas marketing during the Q&A session.
  18. That's exactly why we would want in. We want to be amoungst the elite, the best, winners. To be there and stay there you need money. I want Rangers to be as good as they can be which I hope is with the cream of europe.
  19. I would have to back Fish on this one. Fletcher gets forward more than any of our current midfielders. Think he would be a great asset to our club. Don't think we could afford him though.
  20. He would be an OK signing but that's it. Hardly going to take us to another level. I'd rather see a quality wide man or attacking midfielder.
  21. Sad news. My thoughts are with the family. Condolences to all concerned. RIP
  22. No sympathy at all for Murray from this bear, his asset stripping is the reason that no-one else is too interested in buying Rangers. After his mismanagement sent us spiraling into debt, to keep the banks happy he sold off parts of Rangers to his other companies to reduce the dept. e.g. The Albion sold to a Murray company for 3/4 million approx. Used as a car park for Rangers games netting approx 3/4 million per season and Murray still retains ownership (not for Rangers) of land worth much more than the 3/4 million he paid Rangers for it. We are now asking him to back the playing staff with what is virtually a gift of 10 million or so from his vast wealth when at the time he would not back us to the tune of 3/4 million for what was a sure fire loan to retain a good Rangers asset. I would love to see him GTF unfortunately until someone comes in we are stuck with him.
  23. I know it's only hearsay but I've heard the same story that Fish has, from people with connections high up in Ibrox. I must admit when I read about Spurs and Middlesboro and 5m I am begining to doubt my source but they are right 99% of the time.
  24. It was a mistake to give him a new contract. Now we are stuck with his wage bill as I can't see anyone else paying him 8 or 10K a week, so he'll go nowhere.
