Apologies is there is already a topic on the man above. There is a tribute dinner being held in his honour tonight at the Thistle hotel in Glasgow, where Fernando will be making an appearance. I know the circumstances our club finds itself at the moment aren't great, but I find it so hard to believe we couldn't have arranged a game for one of our old club captains, who is in such great need of help. We have known about his situation for a while, and while Ibrox is being used for the Commonwealth games, surely a game could have been organised before the end of the season?! He needs out help and the powers at be either couldn't care less or don't even know. I hope it's not too late when something is planned.

If true, shocking decision. I've been a regular watcher of the young Gers over the last few years and he is, without doubt, the best one. They gave him a 1 year deal last summer when Celtic came in for him, when Crawford - McKay etc got 5??????? We've also just released Michael Mossie who was played out of position in Glasgow Cup Final and prob top 3 of a very poor U16-U17 age group. He's also now on trial with Dundee Utd and Celtic. Get Jimmy Sinclair and his puppet, Kirkwood, out of our club.

Couldn't agree more. The guys is a joke, as is Kirkwood. Mossie played at right back tonight, complete waste of a talent. Should have been in the middle of the park where Wilson and Hammill were hiding. McCrorie and MOssie played well, as were Ogen and Hardie who were very isolated. Brownlie was the best Rangers player by a mile, outstanding at centre half.

I was at the game and I don't mind the smoke bombs/bangers but there's no need for the breaking of seats. Numerous people were doing it on 90 mins and these same people would be cracking up if it were to happen at Ibrox.

Dreadful we're allowing him to go back out and continue to play Faure and the woeful Foster. He's impressed me more than anyone at right-back this season, hope he comes back and get a fair crack of the whip.

Does anyone know why we give visiting fans the corner between Broomloan and Govan stands, why don't we give them Broomloan rear/clubdeck (always empty) - out of the way?! It would mean the fans are not broken and games on TV the empty seats wouldn't look so apparent. Numerous English clubs put visiting fans in their top tear, as far away from their team and the pitch as possible. Just a thought.

I find it ridiculous that a club of our size and history have NO senior scouts. Yes we have 2 that cover youth games, but none for the senior side. I have to laugh when McCoist saying we have no Chief Scout, make that none what so ever. Then he has the cheek to say our "Bosnian Scout" Sasa Papac has been over recently.....really McCoist?? I'm not saying it is his fault for a minute but it has to be more of a priority than replacing the Jumbo Screens!? Andnot another, "jobs for the boys" appointment either...

Absolutely 100%!!! The guy should be long gone. The number of players that cannot stand his bullying ways is unbelievable, numerous haven't and won't sign new contracts purely down him and Billy Kirkwood is shocking. Needs to leave asap....average coach, always picks his favourites and last but not least, a bully.

Back to back hat-tricks aint bad for the lad, who's a natural midfielder. It's a very poor U17 team this year, arguably only 4...maximum 5 are good enough. Those being Brownlie, Mossie, Hardie, Ogen & Wilson. Scattering of U16's...Jeffries, Lyons, Ashmore & McCrorie have done well enough to show promise.

To be fair i'd rather it was a Rangers Select v Netherlands Select....lets just deal with this on our own with Celtic. If anything, it should be another club he has played for and not them.

I really struggled watching that, you could see that it's already effecting him quite a bit. If anyone from the club is on here, let's get a game arranged for him!!!! Against AZ or a Dutch select....LET'S SUPPORT HIM AND LEAD HIM IN HIS FIGHT AS HE LEAD US IN MANY OF OURS!!
