No ill feeling towards any of them. They got to live our dreams but the timing was right for all of them to move on. Hopefully we now bring in younger players with less injury issues and most importantly a desire to win.

One of them would be lovely, but in this day and age would be sold within a year
Even getting to see a player of that quality for a season would be amazing.

All the stuff that's been mentioned already on this thread with my personal hope we sign a previously undiscovered wonder kid who gives something new and exciting to watch, instead of the rather tedious football we've seen mostly over the last few seasons. A new Laudrup or Gazza would be amazing!

Diomande struggled a bit when playing with Lundstram. Raskin also struggled when playing with Lundstram. Remove Lundstram and play them both together, unsurprisingly they both suddenly look very impressive.
Can't wait until Lundstram leaves!

Maybe winning a cup double might have saved some of their sorry arses.
Blessing in disguise.
We have made this mistake before, especially after 55.
He's fully justified now in culling this squad.
This could be the only positive if we now see a complete overhaul of the squad. We need new players all over the pitch with a thank you and goodbye to pretty much all the experienced players.

It was corruption today. Nothing but straight up corruption. When we scored I just knew they would find something, anything to disallow it. They were constantly fouling and having snide pushes and kicks at our players but nothing was looked at. Things won't change until we fight back.

I'm more excited about our transfers for next season then this even though it's a cup final. With so many players out, zero hype for the game anywhere, it's hard to get even midly excited for it.

It's good that he has someone here who speaks the same language and can help him settle. Danilo seems like a good laugh too!

Watch the 2nd half or get out in the garden and get some sun about me? It's genuinely 50/50.
I've already decided to take the option to get some sun and pretend this game is not happening.

This is the performance they put up when most of these players are fighting for a place in the team for next season?!

I'm glad we've got Fraser playing instead of Barisic. Hopefully Fraser plays well enough to win a new contract and give us another left back option for next season. Also happy that Silva has been dropped from the starting line up. Even though Wright and McCausland out wide are not great options, they are more motivated and likely to perform than Silva. If Sima can get some minutes and look fit enough, he needs to play in the final.
-
I doubt that either us or him would be interested in him still being here next season.
-
It's too early to write him off. He's only 20 and very few centre backs are fully developed at that stage. Can't compare him with Mayo who is already 24 and had first team football for a few seasons behind him. King is better than Mayo was at the same age. He needs games though to develop and a loan next season might help.
-
After all the goals and memories he gave us, it's hard to feel any ill will towards him. It's right he's leaving and with all the injuries his time will be full of regrets but every time he played he looked levels above most of our other forwards.

I forgot the game was on this evening and just noticed the score. How did we play? Any positives for next season?

I'd prefer to see a 3 man midfield with players who are able to move the ball quickly and get back into position quickly if they lose it. Too many times we would see one of our midfielders or forwards lose the ball and just let their man go for someone else to deal with. So many overloads happened because of this.

How did you hear that if no media coverage and no bears at yhe game, did the wee voices in your head tell you?
I know someone who works for G4S.

I've heard that there was racist language being used towards him too but again nothing in the media.

The manager isn't the problem.
As said earlier he isn't blameless, he has made mistakes but he has never been holding a strong hand of cards during his tenure at Rangers.
This squad was always going to be liable to run out of steam.
A big clue on his future will be how we line up at the start of next season. If he's not move on almost half the current default first picks like Tav, etc, then he won't be here for long regardless of the position he was in when he started with us. He's got a full summer transfer window to get rid of the failures and bring in real quality.
-
Diomande needs support from his midfield partners and he gets Lundstram and Lawrence. Can't be easy playing in a big game trying to make a positive impact while having to cover for the lack of interest or energy from them two.
-
I thought he was biased in their favour throughout but just smart about it. Every time he could possibly give them a decision he did, even when there was nothing in it but didn't give us anywhere near the same protection. But he knows that he will never get any criticism if he gives decisions against us but it will never be the same the other way.
-
We don't need an old school hard man. That's not what football is about anymore. We need high levels of energy, determination when pressing and pace throughout the team. That's how football is now played and games won. We have too many players who just start walking into position when they lose the ball or they are too slow when we have the ball.

A lot more than that will stay but I agree with this being the list.
I would also keep Tav, Danilo (but would like another striker) and would be happy to see Sima and Cortes return. Everyone else I wouldn’t care about losing.Nah Tav needs to go too. We need a clean cut from these past failures.

Looks like a big, strong, athletic centre half with a good range of passing from the video clips I've seen. Hopefully he settles quickly.
