That’s great in principle but 13/14 million on a project when team aren’t doing well is a really hard sell.

This is my main issue. It would be great to have paid off all these things if the team wasn't needing a massive overhaul in the summer and we had sellable assets. The fact we have neither right now is a worry for our transfer strategy in the summer.

We didn't have any money last summer coming out of covid

Which is why our player trading model should've been implemented sooner. We had a number of sellable assets last year that we did nothing about and it has impacted us massively.

And it would have been an incredible year without certain exceptional fees.

    It works both ways.

Now we'll suffer due to the squad being old and rubbish? Works both ways, we front loaded investment in the pitch for the success which worked however by repaying all the loans and settlements all at once when the squad is done leaves us in an awkward situation?

  4. Positive to see how much we have made however there has to be a middle ground when it comes to paying back investors? Essentially the first year we make a profit we have paid back all investor loans and settlements but our squad is fucked, there has to be a middle ground surely?

He won 1 and lost 5, last 2 games were 6-1 and 7-2 defeats, hardly impressive

More impressive than us although that wasn't overly difficult. Having a manager that has a style and wants to play attacking football against absolute jobber teams shouldn't be a difficult task but then i see that half of the poll wants Sean Dyche so who knows, maybe long hoofs up the park is the future.

lol agenda.......he's a gutless clueless manager, very very poor manager.

He's anything but tbh. I think Gio is a very good cup manager rather than a league winning manager. Unfortunately we need someone who is pretty good at doing both. Fat Ange is a league winning manager but has failed miserably in Europe and won 1 cup while having terrible performances in the SF and Final.

I want Gio gone aswell to rescue the league but he's only a small part of the problem, player recruitment last season specifically is the main issue, if we had actually spent some money on midfielders and a winger we wouldn't be in this mess.
