  1. Why do we need a scapegoat for every goal we concede? Football games have goals in them. That's the point. Tav had a good game. They all did. It was great to watch. The end.
  2. Last night was the first time this season where I thought Katic out-performed Goldson but he was still superb. Katic was just on another planet. That run though. Fucking immense.
  3. I loved that too but I seem to remember they changed sunshine, moonlight, etc. To Biscan, Hamann and Finnan?
  4. Loved his organising last night. Constantly talking to Ejaria and Kent.
  5. I think we're OK in there. As others have said, a couple more back to fitness and we have options on how we line up based on what we face.
  6. In his good moments he's Toure. In his bad he's Traore. By the end of the season, I think we'll be glad he was here.
  7. If that incident happens on the street, the sheep-botherer gets a night in the cells and Alfredo gets a lift home. Don't know why it should be reversed because they're running around on a football pitch.
  8. I nearly went down that route because the hopeless fuckers deleted my account for no fucking reason whatsoever. Fortunately they deleted me so completely, I could create a new one without all that "we already have a user with that e-mail" crap.
  9. Is it possible to Google Translate Windass?
  10. If the money in for Windass pretty much covers the money out for Goldson, I think we've done pretty well right there.
  11. Progres 1-0 down approaching half-time. Still in the balance.
  12. From what I've read, all admin on here have VPL rather than VPN. Might need to get your tech advice from lesser deviants.
  13. Yeah. I don't want to knock John Brown, because I actually think he knows better than most what to look for in a good defender, but sometimes scouting just seems to be shooting fish in a barrel. Cuellar and Barisic kind of jump out at you, even for us simple punters. Can't knock him for Katic though, that was a nice catch.
  14. Why did the SFA not pass on their file to the police? They knew there were Rangers Ultras on their way to the North East with gum shields, MMA gloves and flip flops.
  15. I still can't believe that Walter bought Bougherra a pet human to keep him company. And then McCoist kept him, even after Boogie left.
  16. If that is a guess, it is a seriously impressive one?. Store Kongensgade. You know your architecture.
  17. Not sure if they've got the consistency thing yet but watching Liverpool roger Napoli senseless, City might have a real competition on their hands this season. The new keeper, Keita and Fabinho all look good additions. And Shaqiri might be a weird wee oompa-loompa looking thing but he seems to do the business with better players around him. Might put a few pennies on them for the EPL.
  18. Was that the one Bain awarded himself £600,000 for?
  19. This has just cracked me up. I've been living abroad for so long, I'd forgotten it was possible to eat chips and pizza in the same meal?. Fuck, there's days I miss home.......
  20. Thanks for the detail, that's interesting stuff. I wonder how many of these wee errors creep into historical documents and just get lost over time? I'll never get over the size of George Young in these old pics. The guy was built like a one man shipyard.
  21. Sorry, I'm slightly confused with the question. It's an ex-colleague who is their new CEO. His employment background is with companies that are not particularly litigious. He's a collaborative type of guy rather than confrontational. I'm not certain, though I expect he would also have been the guy who signed off on the deal as he was appointed CEO before it was announced. I just don't believe he would throw them into a legal fight with us now.
  22. Boyd's been back on the crisps again over the summer.
  23. Watching the Ipswich - Blackburn game just now and the quality of football is fucking mince. I know it's the first round of games and the Championship is very competitive but all this stuff about how much better the standard is than the SPFL just doesn't ring true watching this.
  24. The difference in the mentality of the support, after being starved of serious European football, is clear as well. Maribor in 2011, only 32k showed up. This time - sell out.
  25. The mouthy fella from Split is unlikely to be there as they are 400+ miles away. Osijek and Zagreb are only 3 hours away, so possible. Apparently though, Slovenia and Croatia are having a fallout over their border just now, so not sure the Slovenians would respond too well to the Croats showing up mob-handed.
