  1. As an adult, I don't go around blindly hating all Celtic fans and Catholics, nor do I tar them all with the same brush - I just wasn't raised that way. One of my best mates at work has a season ticket at park head. I've been down to London for a weekend with the lad (and a few other Bears) and everything. We have a bit of banter to and thro over results (even the odd light hearted stuff on religion - I slag his Catholic education - "too much time praying not enough time learning" when he says something stupid etc) and its never got out of hand, but in general he takes no interest in Republican issues, and hates politics having a place in football and is embarrassed by those who perpetuate the IRA stuff, and maintains that he is in the majority. I don't like Celtic but I don't believe they are all terrorist supporting, unwashed bigots. Thats just ignorant. And I would never bring a child in the world and teach him to blindly hate a group because of their affiliation. I fear for the many children who are taught this, on both sides of the OF divide.
  2. Look mate, I hate the wee rat for turning his back on the country but hes progressed from the sand dancer he was. He looked very dangerous against us and was running through us far too easily for my liking. Gutted he didn't pick the NT (although fuck him now) as we have nothing like that on the wings. Queue the "fuck the tartan trannies" reponses.
  3. No chance, he'll stay with them for life.
  4. Gets 3 points from games that would otherwise end up with 1. He won't leave.
  5. it was mcmillan that got sent on loan Ah, thats it. A loan would do him no harm though he won't get much game time here this season.
  6. I geniunely think Fleck will be another that will leave us an excell in a different league.
  7. Am I imagining this or did he recently get sent on loan? Hopefully he did.
  8. Lets not turn this section into a joke. This is ridiculous.
  9. Would you sign for Timmy as a youth? No, exactly. I doubt hes Celtic fanatic. I think his reaction to the equaliser on Sun showed he might have a bit feelings for our club. Typical that people will want to pick problems with the lad, would probably break his heart if he read this thread. Future Legend in my books. Not that im going overboard.
  10. I'd say so. Its tripe. He will sign a new deal, mark my words. What facts do you base that on? 1.) It may seem like it sometimes but we are not that stupid as a club to sell our top goal scorer mid way through the season. 2.) Boyd really doesn't want to leave.
  11. Scary thought as it would make him even more "undroppable". Will definately happen I would imagine though. Who else is there.
  12. I'd say so. Its tripe. He will sign a new deal, mark my words.
  13. Realisitcally never going to happen. He needs to be sent on loan to play in his natural position to get some goals and confidence under his belt. But he will not be sent on loan and will just rot out of position here.
  14. Not with our current management. At any other club in the world - for example if he had moved down south as a youth. - Yes.
  15. Boyd will NOT leave Rangers, and most definately not this season.
  16. Im pretty sure the majority of Hibs and Hearts fans dislike the both of us. Seem to think the media and powers that be always favour the West.
  17. If the next Wayne Rooney was willing to play for us with a Scottish grandad then fair enough, but im not keen on filling our squad with average Englishmen. All in all I think a parent should be the minimum for anyone to be elligble - thats outwith the 5 year rule a la Islam Feruz who has spent more time here than in his "home".
  18. Will be a cracker. Glad we're going onto this on the back of some form; hardest game of the season outwith Scum at the piggery.
  19. I just believe he won't leave unless forced. He has a good thing here, the French culture wouldn't suit him. Think PLG and his healthy living system, Boyd wouldn't fir into that lifestyle over there. We have a drinking culture at our club and its deeply ingrained. "A team that drinks together, wins together" and all that.
  20. His progress since leaving kind of makes you worry for the likes of Fleck, who probably would have progressed faster elsewhere. For the record, I always thought Adam should have been kept around longer.
  21. Weren't performing and seemed the right idea at the time. Not the first players to fail up here and shine in the championship.
