    I care about the player.
Nowhere near ready to play in SPL game, physically and otherwise.
Other players are closer and better options for both player and club.

If I was his brief, I'd be kicking up fuck about it. Someone, somewhere leaked that he was about to be huckled.

I think its because of recent events. On Friday he was right at the ref basically saying he had got a 2 March ban for a very similar tackle but the ref did fck all. He was livid. Personally I'm glad because I've had enough of the corrupt SFA who have basically done nothing but persecute us. Fck them i cant even support my own country because of them.

Founder Peter Campbell was born on the 6th March 1857.
Peter was the first Ranger to score a goal for his country.
In 1876 Peter and his fellow Pioneer, Moses McNeil, became the first Rangers players to gain representative honours. They were part of the Glasgow side that defeated Sheffield 2-0 at Bramall Lane.
Recognised as one of the top players in Scotland he was one of the first to move south, to Blackburn Rovers, playing there for a short time during the 1879/80 season.
Peter came from a more privileged background than his fellow Pioneers.
His father John was a harbour master, his mother Mary was sister of Sir James Jenkins, honorary surgeon to Queen Victoria. The family home was “Craigellan”, a large sandstone villa in the lochside village of Garelochhead.
Peter’s family were involved in the shipping industry. He was a Ship’s Engineer and was employed at the Barclay Curle Yard on the Clyde .Peter’s engineering certificate issued in 1882, shows his address as being No.2 Parkgrove Terrace in Glasgow where he was living with his cousin Captain Bob Campbell.
This is one of many locations that we visit during the Founders Trail.
Peter retired early from football, to concentrate on following in the family tradition by going to sea and qualified as a marine engineer in 1882. But tragically, in the early weeks of 1883, his ship the “St Columba” floundered in the Bay of Biscay off the coast of France.
The youngest of our Gallant Pioneers died aged only twenty-five.
Peter’s ship departed on that tragic voyage from Penarth Dock in South Wales.
On Saturday 22 nd July 2017, after a period of negotiation with Penarth Council, we unveiled a memorial plaque at Penarth Pier to commemorate the life of Peter Campbell and his contribution in the formation of Rangers Football Club. The memorial was funded by our Restoration of Rangers Graves Project.
We are fortunate to have something more tangible to remember Peter Campbell by. He was a member of the first Rangers’ side to win a trophy, the Glasgow Merchants’ Charity Cup in 1879. Peter’s medal from that momentous day is proudly displayed in the Blue Room at Ibrox Stadium.
There’s an incredible story behind Peter’s medal.
Fellow Rangers supporter William Mason contacted us to tell of how one of his friends had found this medal belonging to Peter Campbell in a park in East Kilbride in 1968. A few years ago his friend loaned the medal to Rangers and Peter Campbell’s medal is on display in the Blue Room at Ibrox.
This is a permanent reminder of the contribution Peter Campbell made in forming our great Club.

He seemed to me to be raging.   Scathing of the players ("across the board") with the exception of Wes who - he admits - won us a point when we could easily have lost all 3, and (partly) of Kamara.    The rest were openly and publicly charged with - yet again - failing to do enough as Rangers players.   I know he said he claims to have dished out his angry message responsibly and I assume he has.   Whether the players individually or collectively accept this and absorb it and react positively to it is another matter.
As he admits this is not the first time he's had to make that sort of statement to them this season.   That - to me - means they get the message but are either unable or unwilling to respond sufficiently positively to it by turning in consistently improved performances and results.   He can keep on with that messaging but it seems to me he's hit the proverbial brick wall which - if true - risks leading to a position where the manager and the dressing room part company.    Is it a question of player ability ie they get what they need to do, they respect the manager, they train during the week to give effect to a game plan...…...but when real contact with real opposition arrives they just don't have the ability to carry out game plan orders or have the nous to take the initiative and deliver the sort of on-field leadership that is needed?    If that's the case then its clearout time …… again.
But wait, they did have that ability and attitude in the OF game so they have shown they can apply themselves.    That means that too many are in a comfort zone where they only play when it suits them to play.   As sort of ManU syndrome under the former ManU manager perhaps.   Which is another way of wondering if SG is losing some of the dressing room.
SG has very high standards and expects the players to aspire to and reach those same standards …….in effect Rangers standards.   They are not doing so.    IMO he must use the rest of the season to sift the wheat from the chaff, identify those he can really rely on and identify better players to bring in for next season - players who will respond to the managerial helm and not players who just refuse to lift their game and follow game plan orders.

Just about every thread now is taken off topic by  a bunch of immature posters who engage in petty arguments pretending they are witty, trading personal insults like wee daft boys and disrupting the thread content continuity, even losing any semblance to a football forum at all.
For me  these posters surely can't be representative of our magnificent support , as they are basically just shitting in their own back yard for their own amusement, and sadly bringing the Bear's Den into ridicule.
Just saying admin, we see it happening, you see it happening, advice from admin above says it should not be happening, yet it's the same garbage happening every day and night. There is of course a suitable off topic forum where this shite could be posted (although not in there either if I was to choose), and I suspect many other posters would prefer it to dissappear altogether from the Bear's Den too.
Quite simply it is embarrassing now, I want to read about my football team in the Bear's Den, not read juvenile tit for tat non football related consistent meaningless twaddle
