I think we need to pack the midfield as this will be a stern test. I would go with Alexander Argyirou Cribari Perry Wallace Faure McKay Black McCulloch Shiels Sandaza
Alright ye have hooked me... The membership resides with the holding company. The football club was an asset of that company. The membership was transferred from one holding company to another.
Ok so this has been bugging me over the last few days, I keep reading journalists/fans/a certain chairman all argue that the reason Rangers are being investigated is not due to EBTs but due to the supposed "Dual Contracts". This argument is usually followed with the usual financial doping rubbish and other nonsensical statements of the same ilk. My question however is surely the unfair advantage argument can then be put to bed? I mean the sporting advantage would surely only apply to EBTs as they allow you to "avoid" tax therefore in theory allowing you to pay players more. But in this case the SPL say they are not interested in EBTs or the tax avoidance side of things, they are merely investigating an administration error. Surely the punishment of title stripping does not fit the crime? If what I understand is correct SPL are saying we should have included EBTs as part of a players contracts but we instead declared them in our accounts at the end of the year. Something stinks...
We need to give ourselves a shake. The following team should be enough though (but I doubt we will see it): Alexander Argyriou McCulloch Faure Wallace Black McKay Shiels MacLeod Sandaza
You blame Murray (which many rightfully do) However - you list his moments from his tenure as high points. I feel some sympathy towards Murray now and again - his financial mismanagement led us to the brink however the rational part of me wonders what would have happened if his company was not hit badly by the recession and the banks pulling the strings.
Exactly! Every game Perry has played there has been at least one howler. If I recall correctly he was pulled all over the place one game at Rugby Park yet people on here were raving about him. Average player who is over hyped
It wasn't so long ago many of us were worried that we would not have team to watch. The majority of the fans at that point were declaring their love for the team and were united in the belief that what was round the corner was not going to be easy. We seemed to accept the fact that we would have a much younger team in the coming seasons and that with a younger team would come a level of inconsistency. Well folks we were exactly right... However instead of remembering our acceptance and backing the boys going forward many of us have been quick to criticise the manager. Instead of turning up in our numbers many of our fans were too busy sitting in their comfy armchairs watching a team full of mercenaries take on one another. We criticise the players for not being interested in the game last night. Well most of us have a cheek because half of us never bothered to turn up.
I won't be going to Hampden but I will be watching it in the pub. I am bitter at the SFA however I work with too many English people not to want Scotland to do well.
