  1. Don't go quoting facts like that to McCoist's love child. P.S McCall is showing how easy the job was but don't tell him that. He is the only person on this planet still sticking up for the worst manager in our history.
  2. They won't all make the grade but now they have hope. It will automatically make them play harder, train harder and look after themselves better. And that's because they know they have a manager who will give them a chance if they deserve it. They never had that before hence why the team went stale.
  3. Aye struggling for 5th or 6th. The fact he is still robbing us of close to £60,000 a month for failure says it all about your hero. He was an unmitigated clueless disaster who has cost us big time.
  4. Nothing meaningful to contribute. Like a staunch defence of your hero and worst manager in our history. The joke figure of RM when it comes to McCoist.
  5. Playing them in 1 or 2 games when he had no other options is not the same as having faith in them. They weren't all world beaters but we didn't need the likes of Miller, Black, Boyd, Daly and Simonsen etc for this division. McCall has proved beyond all doubt we already had most of the players we needed. There was more than enough talent to get us out the 3rd and 2nd divisions. Then if required we could have bolstered the squad to compliment the youths for this season. Some would have fallen by the wayside and others would have come in. That is only natural. McCoist admitted he wanted a ready made team with little or no effort on the coaching side because he knew he was not up to the job.
  6. I'll go against the grain and say he is standing out only because of the mediocrity he is playing with. To balance that up yes he is technically very good. Very one footed and slightly predictable. His downfall is no real genuine pace which is why he won't make the grade at Newcastle. I do hope we can keep him but i still wonder how he will fare against better and quicker defenders. He can't do it alone and will need a better calibre of player beside him if we do get promoted. The point i do agree with is my thanks to him for his goals and effort since joining us. Can't fault his attitude or enthusiasm.
  7. I followed Rangers in the 80's during the Greig era and i witnessed some shite. And funnily enough i am still a fan today. And i will always be a fan. What i said was i cannot be arsed watching teams like Cowdenbeath or Raith Rovers anymore. I want us promoted and back at the level and standard we belong. This is Rangers not some tin pot diddy team we are talking about. Honesty and loyalty are a strange mix.
  8. Both are not of the standard required at Rangers. Aird is playing with the U20's for a reason....he isn't good enough for the 1st team. Templeton has talent but a rotten attitude and a poor awareness of positional play and decision making. Look to the future because the present isn't good enough
  9. Rangers Football Club should NEVER be playing outside the top division We should NEVER accept mediocrity or 2nd best. We should NEVER fear any team in Scotland. We may be where we are just now through a combination of factors but this is still Rangers we are talking about. The worlds most successful football team didn't become that by wallowing in lower leagues and in self pity. It's about time the custodians, shareholders, fans, manager and players realised this and started thinking big. I want us back in the SPFL as soon as possible so we can start annihilating all those smug arrogant bastards who tried to kill is. Regain our rightful place as Scotland's premier team and fans and dominating the game like never before.
  10. He's done more in his few games than say Aird has done all season. You instinctively know a player when you see them. He has the ability to become much better.
  11. Another year in this league and i don't think Rangers would even survive. Thousands of fans have had enough as it is. And if we get promoted we are going to take a few sore ones regardless of who we bring in to the team. I simply cannot be arsed watching Cowdenbeath or Raith fucking Rovers anymore.
  12. Tiger will be lucky to make the cut. Sergio won't win it as he doesn't believe he's good enough. Not convinced McIlroy is at the top of his game either but should be in the mix if he can grind out a score when not playing well.
  13. When players have no faith in their manager and vice versa then rarely do they play well.
  14. I wish more players had told us earlier how shit McCoist was. And the laughing stock of the forum defends McCoist and attacks Templeton...what a surprise. Still can't bear to see how utterly shite and clueless his lover boy was.
  15. Don't kid yourself. The viewing figures go through the roof when he is playing. He is still the major draw in America. Just watch the frenzy over his decision to play and you'll see what I mean. The fact he will struggle to even make the cut matters not a jot.Oh and Dustin Johnson is my main bet. Hits it a mile. Back clean, head sorted and won already.
  16. Why am i not surprised. Rangers are simply one cog in a very big wheel they want destroyed and removed from Scottish society.
  17. The real problem isn't so much not voting Labour or SNP but a viable and credible alternative. There is a Scottish Unionist Party already in existence. However you won't be surprised to know that it floundered...maybe something to do with a certain Mark Dingwall being involved. Of course that could be a co-incidence.
  18. Only problem with a league like that is the expense. I think many clubs simply couldn't afford the travelling expenses for every away game. Especially if you are based in the UK. We would have to fly to every away game. The money would have to be very attractive to even consider it. And that's before we even think about the fans trying to get to away games. I think the novelty would die off very quickly and soon become unaffordable.
  19. Hence why the club gets no support in the media or politics. Why Unionists, Protestants and Loyalists get treated like 2nd class citizens. You vote for them you get what we are getting now. Be it Labour or SNP they will NEVER look favourably on any of the above. If fans are happy voting for them knowing they hate everything they stand for then it calls in to question their judgement.
  20. Not until the EPL collapses and Europe makes changes to save football. We are stuck in Scotland for the foreseeable future. Now it's not very often i quote Liewell but he said something the other week about their finances which made me wonder. He claimed that the current TV deal could be scrapped because he thinks they would make more by having all their home games at 3pm on a Saturday. I did take it with a large pinch of salt but it does make you wonder. Would more fans come back to the games if they were played at this time and in the summer. I also have to say i think he would change his tune quickly the minute we return to the SPFL. It is however a concept worth exploring because as things stand Scottish Football is only just better than Wales or the Baltic states in terms of appeal and revenue generation. If we are to stay in Scotland then massive changes need to be made at all levels. The fans have to be listened to and if they want to stand, or have a beer, or want prices cut then that is what has to happen. Football is an entertainment business and has to start thinking and acting like one.
  21. A couple of points he made really stood out. He said: "The interim results aren't that bad. A loss of £2.6 million isn't bad at all. In fact, it shows that in the last six months of last year the club was probably being run fairly prudently. But my question would be: 'Do they really have the money to do the job?' He said: "I don't think Mike wants to own or run Rangers. His only interest is in selling his shirts and his shoes. I'm not sure that's where the focus of attention should be for the new people in charge."
  22. Anyone..because if we do win the play offs and McCall has us back to believing in ourselves then they should be worrying about us. We should NEVER ever be in a situation again where we worry about who we play in Scottish Football.
  23. I would prefer to hear from his managers what exactly they feel he brings to the team that is so valuable. I can only hope and pray that whatever the outcome is this season that it's his last as a Rangers player. He isn't good enough for this level so won't be good enough for the SPFL. He simply has to be replaced if we want to progress.
  24. I too would love to see Stenson winning it but i still have doubts over his ability to control his nerves in the closing stretch of a major. He has the ability of that there is no doubt but is he another Monty or Westwood or Donald?
  25. He’s definitely spending more time on tactics and the players seem to be getting a buzz off him. The more i read comments like this the more my disgust for that charlatan ex manager of ours grows.
