I do believe Wallace has the experience to make the club successful again but I feel that his hands are tied in the boardroom, as was Walter `s and think that he, also knows that Ally is not the man for the job but his hands are tied.
When he was at Rangers he got comps for every game but he tried to sell them through his family or use them to pay his gardener rather than shell out cash. Scumbag
Bud was a joy to watch, along with other antics on that era. Baxter hiding the ball up his jersey and walking away with his back to the ref. who was frantically trying to find the ball and Kusnetsov standing on the ball. Great memories.
There should never have been a party after that disgraceful performance , whether planned or not. It was a slap in the face to the fans who paid good money to support the team in Edinburgh
I was there in the days when we "did not surrender to ANY team" There is no John Greig spirit in the team and this should be drummed into the players before each game. Unfortunately Ally would rather be diplomatic towards the opposition so I can`t see things getting better soon.
To me, Baxter was the greatest player of his day. I remember his antics on the pitch when he directed the play. He used to say to the young players. if they were in trouble "just give the ball to me". I became a regular in his pub at Paisley Road Toll and it was a joy to sit and listen to his football stories. He was also a big gambler and his "lock ins" were famous.
Football players were well known to be gamblers. This seems to be another example of hate against Rangers and the player. The SFA could have investigated players gambling years ago.
Probably been said before but we need a manager who will address the players weaknesses eg over the bar Little, and be able to motivate the players. We have a world class training complex but is it being used fully?
Thats just giving the cabal the impression that we will lie down to all their future attempts to disadvantage us. We need someone with guts on that board to stick up for us. "dignified silence" Poooooooooooooooo
