  1. If you want a second administration don't buy a season ticket. If you want to see the club survive renew your season tickets if you can afford it!
  2. Living 170 miles away from Ibrox means I have to decide which games I travel for. Saturdays aren't an issue but a Tuesday night and a 7.45pm kick off when the league is won well that's a different story. I'd love to go to every game but getting back to Lancashire at 12.45am and having to get up 5 hours later for work means giving this particular game a miss. Looking forward to the game on Saturday, going to take the train so me and the misses can have a good drink and a sash bash in the Louden afterwards. Beats driving!!!
  3. I never wanted us to sign Daly, thought we should have taken Boyd. Daly has scored 22 goals or so this season which isn't bad for someone who doesn't really move. Boyd used to get pelters for doing nothing other than scoring! I'm pretty sure Boyd would scored more than Daly this season, he definately wouldn't have missed that sitter against Dundee Hibs, let alone that near empty goal against Forfar on Tuesday. If Boyd is back for next season. I've no doubt we will win the Championship!
  4. I hope there is at least 25k there on Tuesday, bringing up one of my work mates from Lancashire for the game. He supports Tranmere, but wants to see a Rangers game. It's a 170 mile trip each way, so hoping for a decent crowd. Not looking forward to getting up early for work Wednesday.
  5. I think the O.P. may have a point, we have looked pretty poor most weeks this season, let alone last. However I don't think we looked too out of place against Dundee Hibs, mind you I think Barca would have beaten Raith Rovers,
  6. Don't think the finances will be as bad this year coming, provided we continue to buy our season tickets. Still confident we will win the league next season, it will be tough tho, but we looked better today against Dundee Hivs. They were the better team in the end but we had chances to put them away.
  7. Like the the man said, I support Rangers, I have done all my life. I'm 53 and remember previous bad times, but we will prevail. I paid for my season ticket this morning! Can't wait for next season!
  8. I like Bilel, he's not the greatest player to play for Rangers and certainly has lapses of concentration, but he is entertaining and looks like he loves playing for us.
  9. Dundee Hivs will come at us, they are not going to sit back. This will give us the best chance to win. I'm not overly confident but i expect a good performance tomorrow. If our players don't put on a show tomorrow they don't deserve to pull on that famous jersey ever again. They aren't the greatest players to represent us but they represent us now, all i ask is that they play to your utmost, if that isn't good enough then fair enough, but put in 100% and make this bear happy.
  10. I've said it on another thread, if Dave King wants the club then he should fucking put his hand in his pocket and buy it, till then fuck off.
  11. I have no doubt we will win the league next season, even with McCoist in charge. With Cribari and a few others at the end of their contracts we should be able to bring in a couple of players to improve the squad and offer more competition. Some people said we would struggle this season and while the football has been dire recently, we have won at a canter.
  12. Don't think we should make our feelings known during the game as I believe that would be counter-productive. We all want to defeat DU on Saturday, we need a unified front of noise to help unsettle the united players, they have had it easy this season, nobody goes to the peado dome!. Roar the team on until the final whistle, if we lose and the players have been as ineffective as last Sunday then let them and the management have it!
  13. None of the current squad would get in to the 2010-11 squad. McCulloch was never that great, Lee Wallace was ok but nothing special. As for the rest sorry they are not good enough. However they are what we currently have and should be good enough to get us back to the top division, just need to be managed correctly! Ally and his backroom staff must go!
  14. Looking forward to the game, never been to Easter Road before. I think we will win but hope the lads put on a decent show!
  15. No boycott for me, we will be renewing as soon as we are asked.
  16. I'm no fan of McCoist as a manager. We have won the league and if that is the only priority then it would be churlish to ask him to step aside. However the football has been woeful since before xmas, He seems unable to motivate his players to give their all for the fans every week. If the players don't perform they deserve to be dropped and someone else given a chance. Week in week out the team virtually picks itself, young Gallagher has been good since he was given his chance, but I'd like to see some of the other youngsters too. Ally needs to be more adventurous and give the fans something to look forward to.
  17. Think Black has been one of our best players this season. Takes terrible punishment from opposing players but usually just gets on with it. if he could only learn how to keep the ball down when he shoots.
  18. There are 2 reasons we have lost money, We have paid our staff far too much and the season tickets were far too cheap this season. f we keep costs roughly the same in the coming season and increase the season ticket to what it should be, the club will show a slight profit. We are not going to break even until we are back in the top league and challenging for Europe. That was always the case!
  19. When I brought my non Rangers supporting English mates up for a game last season, they thought it was a fantastic stadium and enjoyed the atmosphere, the 3 of them are catholics too! One of them has already come up for a game this season and is keen to make it an annual pilgrimage. Another mate who supports Tranmere Rovers wants to come next time. It's all about the Rangers.
  20. I would have Boyd for next season, he is a proven goalscorer in Scottish football, look how many goals he has scored in a shite Kilmarnock team. Give him the ball in the box and he is going to score, plus we need him to take penalties, as big Jig is nearly done.
  21. I usually have a pie, they are not great, the ones I get from Greenhaulgh's in Lancaster are far better, but after a 3 hour drive and a couple of pints in the WRC I need something!
  22. I had no problems with mine till about 3 weeks ago. I always washed it carefully but now the letters are just peeling off. Won't buy another that's for certain.
  23. Was pleased for Ally that we won the league last night, but doesn't change anything for me, we need some new direction. The first half was great and to be honest if the team had played like that all season I would be fully behind Ally. however the second half was dire. The players switched off and were mostly show boating, we never looked like scoring after Little & Temps were forced off. i really enjoyed the end of game celebration, none more so than Ally's, however the previous games since the new year have been dire & Alley hasn;t been able to motivate his team. Thanks for the last 2 championships, but now is time to go.
  24. For the first time this season I didn't hear the chant of 'Super Ally', if it was sung i surely missed it. The crowd is slowly turning against him, the team must start playing better immediately.
  25. McCoist needs a reality check, he's paid an absolute fortune to give us entertaining football. If he doesn't improve things quickly can see the ST sales dropping further let alone the issues with the board. Sort it out or do the decet thing and resign.
