  1. I don't have a problem with anything Charles Green has done in the past few weeks. We have all been clamoring for change since the turn of the year and more needs to be done. I'm happy to give Ally the benefit of the doubt this season, but I have been far from happy with the performance of the team. Like the rest of the country we need to live within our means. We need to get the most out of every pound spent. Keep Ally but lets shake up the rest of the coaching staff, we need to make the most of what we have got and only bring in players that really will improve the squad.
  2. Thought Wallace had a poor game, seems to be struggling for fitness to me. Hutton was dire, couldn't pass to save himself. Hemmings finally got a chance to start but needs more games. Would struggle to pick anyone who had a good game.
  3. I will be renewing my season ticket, no matter how dire the performances are. I want Rangers to survive and prosper, withdrawing season ticket funds will not help. We desperately need a change of management. Nearly everyone of our players would have got a game for Stirling Albion today, I believe the Stirling boss would have got more out of them. McCoist must step aside, he just doesn't have the skills for the job.
  4. I've been a Rangers supporter all my life, getting on for 50 years. I've sung all the songs that are now deemed sectarian & enjoyed every minute doing it, but enough is enough. The law says we can't sing these songs anymore, the football authorities let alone the law courts will punish us if we carry on. It is more important to me to support Rangers than singing what are deemed to be sectarian songs. I don't hate catholics, I took 3 of my catholic English mates to Ibrox last Saturday and tey loved every minute of it. I hate Septic and their fans simple as. Rangers is far more important to me than a few songs!
  5. I would really like to be able to sing & hear The Billy Boys being belted out by our support. I don't consider myself to be sectarian in any way, I'm not religious and have friends who are catholic, 2 of whom are coming up with me to the game on Saturday, just to see the Rangers. Can't we just remove the word 'fenian' and replace it with 'c#lt#c', or anything else suitable.
  6. I bought 4 tickets in BF3 for my English mates, who are desperate to come up see a match at Ibrox. We all live in Lancashire, they are Man Utd, Wolves & Burnley fans, 2 of whom are lapsed RCs, but they all want to see Rangers and think the level of support we have is incredible. Hopefully they will see a decent game but to be part of an Ibrox crowd and share a few beers will make it a memorable day!
  7. Another good article from Chris. Would dearly like to know what goes on at Murray Park, what the long term plans are. We must start signing young players with potential, not easy I know but more effort is required. As for the coaches by all means keep the ones we have, if we can afford them, but some new ideas are definitely required.
  8. Really want to see Ally succeed but think time is running out fast. He needs some better support around him, McDowell & Durrant need to be shown the door. I'd get McInnes in as assistant and see how things go.
  9. Its vital we sign 2 experienced centre halves in Sept, Cribari is shocking, Perry has a hard job covering for him.
  10. Alexander is certainly not as good as he was, doesn't pull off the type of saves McGregor used to every week. Trouble is who do we get in?
  11. I more than happy the club survived. The support from the fans has been tremendous, long may it continue. The emergence of some genuine young talent gives hope for the future. We look to have the league sown up and hopefully champions by the end of March, beginning of April. Some of our performances have been hard to watch, but given the hand we were dealt, things will no doubt improve. More positives than negatives in my opinion.
  12. I would happily have Kris back, best goal scorer since Super. Look we gave Sandaza and Kyle a job, neither of whom are anywhere near as good as Boyd. He's made his money now, think he would happily sign up for a reasonable wage. We all loved his goals, he helped us win the league a couple of times, get him signed up Sept 1st.
  13. Used to drink in The Mayfair all the time when I lived in Peterhead, wasn't a tim bar then, how things change.
  14. I am dismayed by the thought of some Rangers fans threatening possible violence against any fans who intend to go to the united cup game. Like some others I don't attend away games in general as it's hard enough to get to Ibrox for most games due to work. If people want to boycott games that's fine with me, for those who wish to go and support our team, I say good on you. We should all make our own decisions and not be intimidated by the minority. Those fans threatening violence against fellow bears we can do without in my opinion.
  15. Great article, well written, sums up my feelings exactly.
  16. Several posters quite rightly think there should be an enquiry into HMRC's handling of this case. Not sure how we do it but believe we can start on-line petition through a Government web site and if we get 100K names we can have the issue discussed in parliament. Might be worth a go! Shouldn't be a problem to get 100K bears.
  17. Probably wasn't the best turn of phrase!!!!!! I don't think the young lads are the problem, its the so called SPL men.
  18. Just home from a 12 hour shift, can't believe we could lose to Stirling Albion. I don't remember Berwick in 67, so this is the worst result in my life. Really want Ally to be a success, but something is way, way wrong. We are stuck with the players we have got now, so if we can't change the players the management has to change. Ally needs help, the so called experienced players are taking the piss, we need to get someone in to kick their arses into next week and beyond. They have signed for Rangers, no matter what league we are in it's probably the greatest honour in their careers. We need someone like Jock Wallace to put the fear of god up them. Get them down to Gullane and beast them. The young lads will come good I'm sure, but they need their elders to fucking get a grip. Jig needs to rip them a new arsehole.
  19. I don't hate the players that decided to jump ship during the summer. Most of them helped us win many trophies over the past few years, many of them took part in that magnificent run to Manchester back in 2008. They jumped ship purely for financial reasons, they didn't know where their next couple of million pounds was going to come from. For all their wealth they will regret for the rest of their days their decision to leave Rangers. Sure they may have more money in the bank, but they have lost the respect of the vast majority of bears who would do anything to play for the club they love. In years to come when they are nothing other than ex-footballers they will rue the day they left Rangers in its hour of need and are no longer Rangers legends, idolised by the greatest fans on earth. WATP.
  20. Sums up how I feel about the guy, top man!
  21. I'm pretty sure Jig does read RM. He helped my lad send a signed Rangers shirt to a new fan in Brazil. Like many on here I wasn't his biggest fan last season but he's up there with the greats now in my opinion. Should play up front on every possible occasion. Respect!
  22. I sat in my local today in the middle of Lancashire watching what can only be described as the worst football Rangers have ever played. I don't believe we have ever played worse than today. It was Berwick for fuck sake not Barcelona! I have watched Rangers since the mid sixties, no previous manager would have survived after such a game. I truly believe that Ally is the greatest ever Ranger, but I doubt he has it in him to take us to the very top. If the players who pulled on the royal blue today think they are Rangers players they need to think again.I know we have only had 6 competitive games but come on, these players are taking the piss! If Ally can't motivate them or better still kick them up the arse, he needs to step aside. Ally should take up the role of Chairman where his skills as a communicator would be a great advantage to the club. I know we are in a dire position but we should be able to beat any of the teams in the Scottish 3rd Division! Trouble is who would I replace Ally with, there are no obvious candidates! Walter is the obvious safe pair of hands, but he deserves to enjoy his retirement, he made his decision to leave us and although I'm sure it was a difficult decision it was probably the right one. If I could pick one ex-player I would go for Brian Laudrup, his brother Micheal has made a good fist of things in management so far, surely Brian must have similar skills. it's early days, Ally may get a grip of the situation. I'm fairly confident we will win this league but I'd really like us to start doing what we should be doing and beating these teams with ease.
  23. Always hated Black when he played against us, thought he was a c*nt, but he's going to be our c*nt now and I reckon he will do a job for us in midfield. We are going to be playing against some pretty basic footballers who will know how to hurt some of our young lads, I reckon Black will do us a turn and given time will become popular with the fans. At least he is prepared to drop down to the SFL3 which is more than can be said from some of our former players.
  24. All the best Mo. At least you stayed and brought some money into the club.
