  1. There is one over towards Arlington, unfortunately i can't remember the name of the place.
  2. With our current squad we would struggle in League 2. English lower leagues are much better than everything outside our top league and few of our top sides would survive a season in the Championship.
  3. I think Brentford would wipe the floor with us at present, like most teams in the Championship - sad times indeed.
  4. I met Ally before the Ramsdens Cup Final last season. i popped out of a bar in Leith to wish him all the best, he took time to stop and chat with me and the missus, a perfect gentleman!
  5. Ashley is only interested in Rangers as a vehicle for SportsDirect. He could probably get Rangers back in Champions League for an investment of less than £50m. How much do you think he would have to invest in Newcastle United to get them into the Champions League? I reckon it would take up to £300m to get Newcastle into the top 4 in the EPL. We are by far the cheaper option!
  6. All the boycott did was strengthen Ashley's hand. It damaged the club unnecessarily.
  7. Couldn't understand why we only made one substitution today, we were really poor and needed an injection of pace. Templeton would surely have made a difference in the last 20 minutes or so.
  8. Although Law has scored some cracking goals, he doesn't do enough for me during the game. Black on the other hand always tries hard in my opinion, of the two I'd rather have Black.
  9. Starting to think the real spivs, UoF and SoS are going to get what they want, the club in Administration so Dave King & his chums can buy us cheap. Meanwhile the real fans who invested yet again last time lose everything.
  10. A great nine minutes of football. Give Boydie the ball in the box and he is going to score, only hope he plays as well this season and we have the players to find him. Can see him scoring quite a few!
  11. I am all for Nerlinger coming to the club, we need all the help we can get. If McCoist doesn't like it he can walk away. Hopefully the two men can work well together, if not then Wallace will have a decision to make. I know which way I think he will decide.
  12. !7k season tickets is somewhat disappointing, however i'm pretty confident there will be a full house when we kick off the season at Ibrox. Those that have chosen not to renew will still be there but maybe not in their normal seats! McCoist isn't the greatest manager but he is the current manager and deserves our support. We will win the league and return to the top flight where we belong. The board will issue new shares, Dave King and the Union of Fans will take up the maximum no doubt! At the end of the day we are on our way back to the top, it would be great to be playing great football with a young team, but that's not to be. This is our last year in the wilderness, I am proud to have supported my team through our hour of need, much better than the easy years when we were winning nine in a row.
  13. Look it's time we got over this young kids crap. We have never been good at developing talent. Over the last 50 years of supporting Rangers I can't think of 5 players we could claim to have developed. In all those years I can think of two, Barry Ferguson & Derek Johnstone, there are probably others but I can't think of them. Doesn't make it right, but there you go!
  14. By all means those who have chosen not renew, now is the time to make a final decision. It's going to be a tough league next season, but I'm 100% confident we will succeed. Hearts & Hibs have signed their own death warrants, Now is the time for us to deliver the final blow. Stand by Rangers just as you stood by us when we found ourselves in the bottom tier of Scottish football. Your club needs you, now is not the time to surrender.
  15. I've said it before, i don't give a flying fuck who runs Rangers, so long as we are still there playing football. In an ideal world I'd like a board that support Rangers and don't take any money from the club. Sadly we are not in that position, the fans who bought shares did so for the love of the club, the institutions bought shares because we were going cheap and they saw the potential to make money. Unless people like King and other wealthy bears come forward and invest heavily just for the love of the club, our current board and institutional investors will remain in place. If we don't buy sufficient STs, the club is going to suffer, simple as. Those who say they aren't buying tickets because the football is poor, aren't going to improve things. We can't afford to get rid of McCoist unless he walks away. He is here for next season regardless of any so called boycott. I'm not a fan of McCoist as manager and if I was on the board I'd tell him his contract will not be renewed next year. Protest by all means but do so vocally at games, not by withholding much needed funds. Next season is going to be more exciting, I still believe we will win even if Ally is manager. It's going to be tight tho!
  16. This club will only survive by selling season tickets and generating greater revenue streams. We should stop waiting for people like Dave King to come to our rescue. If he wants the club he should buy it, not get the Union of Fans to drive us to administration, so he can get it on the cheap. If fans can't afford their season tickets, that's understandable, but to deprive the club of much needed funds so another spiv can gain control is unforgivable.
  17. Ally only recommends who he wants, Graham Wallace will have the final say. Somehow i don't think he will be as lenient as Craig Mather.
  18. Rangers have been around for 142 years, there have been countless board members in that time, some good, some bad. I bought my season ticket because I want to watch Rangers play football. The football has been pretty poor of late, but I still support the team and always will.
  19. Why would anyone be so stupid and give their money to this scheme? What guarantee do they have that they will be given a season ticket let alone any ticket for a game?. It's a crackpot scheme in m opinion. If you want to see Rangers play in the championship next season, then buy your season ticket from the club.
  20. Ally is a true gent, I want him to stay at the club. I'm not sure he has what it takes to be a great manager, but something has to change, This management team doesn't work, if Ally stays then Kenny or Ian have to go. I agree Ally needs support, just not sure who.
  21. It was definitely in poor taste. Think both Union Bears & The Blue Order should stick to what they are best at - improving the atmosphere within Ibrox.
  22. I had already renewed my season ticket. Having read the outcome from the review there were no real surprises or omissions as far as I'm concerned. A great deal of money has come and gone, the previous Chief Executives clearly bear the brunt of responsibility for this. As for Graham Wallace I trust him to do what is best for the club going forward, he inherited a mess and has already taken action to reduce losses. I'm sure more is to come. As for income we all know it needs to be increased, we need to sell a similar number of season tickets at the new increased price. Withholding revenue by giving money to King's scheme is clearly a threat to the club. I'm against this course of action!
  23. I'm deeply saddened by this news. Hopefully we can fill Ibrox on Saturday to the rafters and pay our respects to the man. Minutes silence and 2 minutes applause starting at the 2nd minute.
  24. I've already renewed! Why did i do it? I want Rangers to be here for the next 142 years and more. Do I trust the board, not entirely. Do I trust King & the Union of Fans definitely not! If King and his cohorts want to run Rangers then step up to the plate and buy the bloody shares. I don't fucking care if the money goes to Green and Co, they own the shares! If you want to buy Rangers cheap then force us into Admin 2. In my humble opinion if you can afford it but don't renew you are putting the club at risk. The reason we are still here is down to the loyalty of the fans, withhold that loyalty and you may get more than you expect!
