Amateur outfit. Sums up Scottish football. No foresight and apparently no weather apps in Dingwall.
But I'm happy we will be resting and raring to go on Saturday....
Think the weather in Glasgow alone would have been enough to have this called off TBF.

I don't even see the point of the masonic police connection if we can't chopper Ross County in out of blocked traffic at taxpayer expense.
Jokes aside, I think this is good. A night game followed by an early kick off OF, I'd take the rest. And after Jan 1 we'll have PC's new Belgian warriors, I'm not sure who, but probably De Bruyne.
It's disappointing but yeah there's definitely a silver lining to it from that respect.

Who?
Not many have played every minute of every game. Nobody looks “dead on their feet “strongest 11 every time. Does wonders for momentum team spirit and cohesion.
Sima looked weary yesterday, and has started week in week out for a good while now.

McCausland and Sima both looked dead on their feet yesterday
Butland
Tav Goldson Souttar Yilmaz/Barisic if fit
Sterling Dowell
Wright Cantwell Matondo
Dessers
Aye I'd rest those two, need to remember how big a step up it has been for McCausland to play at this level.
Would quite like to give Goldson a rest if possible, even if it's just getting him off at half time.

Brilliant inch perfect ball in from Ridvan there
Not a chance that was the ball he was trying 🤣

What a fucking goal that is

Not been getting enough game time to hit the ground running realistically so wouldn't add much value.
I would tell Hearts we will be recalling Lowry though, try to use him as a bargaining chip if we are trying to strike a deal for Shankland.

Butland
Tav Goldson Davies Borna
Sterling King
McCausland Cantwell Matondo
Dessers
Think resting players will be to a minimum for this one as a tough away game and the lack of players to come in to the team, but fancy Sima might be given a rest and Matondo or Wright given a start.
Who partners Sterling at CM is the big one. Not sure how sharp Dowell is likely to be after playing 90mins last night so fancy it will be Souttar or King.

Motherwell vs Rangers. Scottish Premiership.

Fir Park, live on Sky Sports.
Form
Motherwell - L D D L D D

On to the next one with must win matches coming thick and fast, and with the squad further depleted this one will be an all hands to the pump effort.

No, we rest the players we can't afford to lose, Lundstram being number 1 at this point in time because of the other injuries we have at the moment
Lundstram isn't needed to beat St Johnstone at ibrox
Maybe he isn't in hindsight, but before last night Phil obviously felt Sterling needed the rest more. Lundstrum would no doubt have got his rest when the gaffer thought the time was right.
Not being rested isn't the reason he is now out injured, Scottish Football hatchet men are.

Don't think we've got enough in midfield not to be playing him now.
Next two are Motherwell and Ross County, I know Rice isn't training with the first team at the minute but surely has to come in to the reckoning now to play alongside Sterling.

Dowell for me in there, he’s tidy on the ball, we need someone who can put their foot on it and get us moving
For someone who has barely kicked a ball in months, I thought he did reasonably well last night. Given his injury record though, I'd be keeping him on ice for the next 10 days.

Think we will just need to play 2 destroyers in cm and hope they can get the ball to our "flare" players to create chances. Time to grind the results out to winter break.
When you say 2 destroyers, who are you thinking? Sterling and.....King?
Genuinely think we'll see Dowell rested (wrapped in cotton wool) for the next two matches to ensure he makes it. -

Dessers is a bit rusty however Lammers is just garbage.Think the LB chopping and changing dosent help Ridvan
Lammers is having one of his better games.
Not saying much admittedly

Cant believe Roofes injured again! Really rate him as a player and you just know he will go elsewhere and play most of the season.
He won't, he'd plenty issues before he came here, and they will follow him.
For once we aren't the problem.

Thought he was pretty dire on Sunday tbh - not sure it’ll work out for him here.
He was and it wont!

Probably, but he’s not left us in as bad a nick as was made out.
He has, we've just done an incredibly good job of replacing him.

In terms of style of play, what can we expect?
- Do not let him anywhere near the recruitment. He basically came into QPR and insisted on bringing all his own boys in, lumbered us with a crock of injury prone shite, all of whom he’d very conveniently worked with before, and they all downed tools the moment he left. If he’s lucky enough to get another big job like this, he should be doing so under the proviso he works with the players he’s given.
- Players arriving with great long stories about how he first coached them when they were eight-years-old, or went to school with their mum, or attended their Christening, or knows from the local youth club or some such horse shit.
That sounds familiar
