Was poor yesterday, no two ways about it. He can't control a ball or win a 50/50 so he's just too easy for a defender to deal with 90% of the time.

The reaction in here when he came back was way ott....the big man is a consistent 7/10....delighted that he is proving his worth
I think it was mainly the nature of how he was brought back, the timing of it was like we panicked after Leon King's injury, only for it to become obvious a week later that Leon's injury wasn't serious.

His mix of goals has certainly changed. It is more reliant than ever on penalties, seeing less of him appearing late at the back post.
I now completely rescind this comment 😂😂

Hadn't heard about Leon King's car accident until yesterday, glad it appears to not have been too serious.

There been any update on Cantwell?
Or do we reckon it will be kept quiet until an hour before kickoff?
-
Any confirmation yet on whether he will be available tomorrow?

Yes but we should still have cleared it after Cifuentes error.
Absolutely, not blaming him for the goal at all, happened far enough up the pitch that we had ample opportunity to recover.

The Scottish Cup semi v the taigs we were the strongest fittest side in extra time and that was after playing a 120 minutes three days before v Braga. Not to mention the Europa League Final in 30 odd degree heat we were the stronger fitter team in extra time and were the ones pushing for a winner. 👍🏻
Absolutely, then he got a pre season to work with the squad and whatever he did, the players didnt looked anywhere near sharp enough any more.

Our fans have their heads in the clouds thinking we’ll get him permanently when he’s already hit 14 goals/assists for us before Christmas
I fancy a best case scenario, if another club don't match their valuation in the summer and he remains not in their first team plans, they may give him a new deal to protect their asset, and we may be able to negotiate another year's loan.
Depends what number they are looking for given his contract is running down.

He won’t be affordable. No hope Brighton are selling him to anyone for cheap.
A premier league sides going to look at least 10 million for someone his age with his potential, plus the fact he’s doing well in Europe and they themselves are competing in Europe now
Brighton are one of the top "player trading" model clubs, they know how to get a players worth in negotiations.
Lad won't be picked up on the cheap.

It certainly wouldn't have been up to Beale😂

Huge result, in it's own right as well as in the context of Sunday.
Aberdeen will have gotten a real lift with their result tonight, them going into the final with more momentum than us could have provided costly.

Destroyed Dortmund, I still watch highlights of that and Leipzig.
Incredible run tbh. Aye we had some luck, but fuck we earned getting to that final.
Dortmund was unreal, I still can't believe how comfortable I felt watching that match.

A few misplaced passes but his workrate and tracking runs were excellent, particularly in the last fifteen.
I’m quick enough to criticise him and he was by no means perfect but he did a good job for the team tonight.
A Jack Russell would track runs and provide work rate.
Even when he does the hard work of closing down and winning the ball, he just makes poor decisions and loses it again time after time.

Absolutely fantastic. Rode our luck at times but you always will away from home against good opposition.
I really questioned the decision to bring on Sterling but he was outstanding. Great performances also from Butland, Cifuentes, Lundstram, Sima and (whisper it quietly) Lammers and Dessers.
A great night and a wonderful way to set us up for Sunday. Let’s get a great result there and start to cook.
Lammers was far from "Great"

I concur, which will make it an even bigger achievement come May if we can bring 56 home.
