Another waster. One look at his record should have been enough to discount him from our plans.

He's not a boy. He's 29 in a few weeks. He shows no energy to do anything. I thought that after the last game he'd up his performance but he actually contributed nothing tonight. A truly awful performance on his part.

Was disappointed in Clement leaving them on so long. Both were posted missing tonight.

Watched the highlights of the Breidablik game v our B team and Davies looked very poor.

How do you sack the majority shareholders? What would that achieve at this time? What difference would it make just now? Who would take over and how would that be achieved?

What cash??? Do you mean the cash to keep the Club going? It certainly isn't cash for themselves. If I wanted to make money I certainly wouldn't invest in any Scottish football club. The current board had little option other than to give Beale a chance to try out his own players. There were a good few posts on RM where people said judge him with his own players. In my opinion the Parks and Ross Wilson were likely to be behind the Beale appointment. Where I think they went awry was allowing Beale to sign three players in particular this summer. Lammers, Dessers and Dowell. The first 2 were too expensive, too old, given too long a contract, on too high wages and have no sell-on value. Dowell has poor playing stats mostly due to injuries I believe. He even arrived with us injured. He will not be on poor wages and will have got himself a signing-on fee. Cremonese and Atalanta must be thinking they won a lottery.

Lammers and Dessers are both atrocious. I'd tell their agents to try to find them clubs at New Year. No matter what, I honestly wouldn't play either of them again. They offer nothing.

I just couldn't see it mate. As much as I admire SD, in my opinion he doesn't have the personality for management.

Sadly, it pains me to say this, tonight turned out as I had expected. A poor performance and a subdued management team during the game. No passion on or off the park.

I did say some input, I didn't say he was to pick the manager.

I would like to see Souness invited by the board to give some input in the recruitment of a new manager. Whoever it is I hope they have a look at the huge number of backroom staff we have at Auchenhowie. God knows what they all do. Beale had two assistant managers and only recently I actually saw what one of them looked like. I still don't know their names without looking them up.

Every club looking for a new manager is a risk for any candidate. Football is a risky business. Chelsea, Everton, and a host of other clubs are no different, they are all high risks. Ross Wilson has a lot to answer for. He was supposed to have put all the blocks in place. The problem was his confidence in his abilities was badly misplaced and also that Douglas Park believed him. Our Club offers a challenge and a high profile one at that. European football is basically guaranteed every year. Basically only one main domestic rival. Do well up here and an EPL club will come looking, or even a continental side. What's not to like about that scenario for a confident and ambitious manager with something to prove?

I doubt very much that was the case but if it was then he was too weak.

This nonsense about sacking the board!! People need a bit of realism. There have been posts about not giving GvB money last season when in the summer window he spent £15m aided by Ross Wilson. The problem was we signed mostly duds. When Gio got the boot most people were happy as we were going backwards. Beale was appointed by Park and Wilson. There were a fair number of posts about judging Beale when he has his own signings. Today was judgement day albeit later than it should have been.

I've been awake since 7 am on a Sunday because of the clown and his utter incompetence. This is one of my lowest points of following Rangers. After Gerrard and 55 I really thought we had clawed our way back to where we belong. When he left I still thought we would keep up but then we appointed GvB which was a mistake and then we compounded that by the baffling appointment of Beale. I didn't want either GvB or Beale and I can't understand the reasoning behind both being given the job. Beale has to go NOW. There is no way back for him. The next manager, even an interim, has to have the ability to motivate the squad and make changes. I'd start by making Butland the captain.

Beale should never have been appointed. Wilson and Park were clearly responsible. Now it's time for Bennett to make the decision and sack him.
