Successful teams are usually built on the ability to just get the job done. Doesn't always have to be the best on the eye but when you walk off with three points its job done and move on. Yes we all want a team that's pleasing on the eye but to be honest the day I see us win knowing that to be honest we were lucky, then I will be breath a lot more easier knowing that even when poor we can get the job done.

He probably a very good prospect and if he was joining a settled team with some good solid wins under their belt then no issue. But that's not the case and the team needs somebody with solid first team experience, just don't see the point in this signing at all and it suggests to me that Dalcio is non starter for the foreseeable future.

Two loan spells at Raith Rovers saw 12 goals from 28 appearances, its good to give youth a chance but at twenty years old and to be at a team with the expectations we have, we need real first team experience. Cant believe we haven't put a bid in for Louis Moult at Motherwell 18 goals two seasons in a row in a team fighting relegation, 25 years old and over 200 first team appearances under his belt. On our budget its a no brainer.

I agree with him on Stevie May, I thought we should of went for him as soon as he became available.

I would say we need a midfielder that can genuinely support the attack and I think Pena was meant to be that player but who knows, perhaps once he gets fit !! only time will tell. I would hope there will be some strengthening between now and the end of the transfer window. But lets face it you can hardly follow the mans logic when it comes to subs during the game let alone in the transfer market.

I think squad strength and depth is going to be an issue. Looking at the bench yesterday, from a middle to front attacking point of view. Pena & Niko clearly not fit & Hardie hasn't been near first team football at all this season (not sure about friendlies) Herrera is injured and I have a feeling he is going to be a frequent visitor to the physio so there's not much left in order to change games. Generally I don't have an issue with the players, its the guy who picks the team and decides the tactics that I have an issue with. Miller; Played far to deep week in week out Pena; We are told he's not fit and on a special regime to get up to speed. Hibs game,out of the blue he's the go to guy, today nowhere to be seen. Hardie; Surely there must of been better options. Dorrans; Brought off today when he was probably one of our better options to create something. The list goes on if you include some of his decisions from last season.

I believe; we are worse than last year but a good 4 or 5 million out of pocket at the same time, onwards and upwards.

Just read a quote from Pedro that he is glad that teams are now coming to Ibrox and showing respect. In the league so far two teams have visited Ibrox and one point has been gained out off six. Hibs showed zero respect assaulted our players and their manager gestured to our support; respect I don't think so. Hearts; Managed by an interim coach with no top flight managerial experience, but Daly quickly realised that this current Rangers team could play all day and not score if you restrict the space to play in.
