I'm not entirely sure. I always thought that the transfer window covered transfers in and out of clubs, so if the English had shut up shop, then it may prevent their players leaving. I'm really not sure though, I posted it to get clarification.

I just posted this in another thread, but how does it work, this extra 7 hours? Surely if England closes it's transfer window at 5pm, that would also prevent players from leaving as well?

So do you think that means we'd need to have a deal done by 5pm if we were signing someone from England then? I guess the extra seven hours would only be viable for transfers within Scotland and countries whose window was also open until midnight.

I'd be hugely surprised if he let us have anybody. It's not only the games against Man Utd, his player could help us get points against other teams in the group, possibly affecting his team's position in the group.

Some things can be taken out of context, or lost in translation, so perhaps that's why there may have been an element of hostility towards you. Are you coming to Glasgow for your away tie?

It's hard to keep sticking up for the guy, but as supporters, that's what we need to do. When he pulls on the jersey, he gets full support. It's as simple as that. He does, however, need to repay the fans that stick up for him by finally screwing the nut and not get involved in controversial incidents. I agree that he shouldn't have been sent off for what happened but the fact is, He has brought it all on himself with all the previous shit. He can't afford the leniency that other players get in these incidents, cos he's been a daft arse for the past two seasons. He needs to get his head down and avoid tussles with the opposition, especially since there are so many who will try to wind him up, given his reputation.

Why are we getting upset about this? The NOTW simply commented that HE asked how Rangers were doing. There's no agenda. I fail to see why it should make us look bad. Killer or not, he simply supports the best team in Scotland, we can't influence who he chooses to support!
