I read there average attendance is 15,000 so should be plenty of tickets kicking about and a big allocation for us in the away end.
-
They won’t take money until everyone is confirmed as going and once points etc are taken into consideration. I was waiting on an email from Rangers before I book it with at least a closing date etc but if nothing comes through tomorrow I’ll book it up anyway.

Last 20 mins - Game Management
GovanFrontSince96 replied to Brackley Bluenose's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Totally it was the last play of the game and it was going to happen whether we made the sub or not, so wasn’t even time wasting it was pointless. -
I think the system is fair, if Scottish teams start doing well in Europe winning games regularly then we will quickly move up the rankings. Even though Septic fans were greeting about 4 qualifiers to reach the CL group stages, I think they’ve realised if they had beaten a poor AEK side then they would have videoton in the last qualifier in order to reach the goldmine of the group stages, not a huge hurdle in fairness. Same with us, if we can’t take care of Maribor then we don’t deserve to be playing the likes of Arsenal or Chelsea in the groups.

Travelling to maribor (hopefully)
GovanFrontSince96 replied to RFC16's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Looks like Thomas Cook will end up with zero profit. They are a business at the end of the day and need to make money but this trip could’ve been arranged cheaper with narrower profit margins, but they got greedy at £600 a skull and now won’t make a penny, it’s the fans who can only do the day trip that will lose out. Interesting to see if the flight options plane is cancelled, maybe they will take the 65? -
SportOptions To Maribor (If We Both Make It)
GovanFrontSince96 replied to ForeverAndEver's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
The last day trip to Maribor was £475 so would imagine if TC do a day trip it would be around £500-£550 now. It’s steep but will suit a lot of people, 3 day trip via Vienna with hotels etc will also add up, again will suit some who have lots of annual leave, to others time is money. At least the option is there now and people can take it or leave it. -

What did Maribor allocate us last time, think we are looking at about 600 tickets should they win, which I’m guessing won’t be enough for everyone? -
800 tickets for the big jock knew camp
GovanFrontSince96 replied to Captain Hilts's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I read it as they are cutting out allocation for the first game to 800 and now want us to talk to the spfl about the allocation at Ibrox soon we hopefully increase it? Makes zero logical sense if they were that bothered about the situation they could have given us far more tickets for the first game. -
Will the draw be narrowed down into groups tonight?

That was prices over 10 years ago, would imagine day trips to be nearer £400 now.. Fiorentina day trip was £300, well worth it!

World Cup vs Europa Qualifying
GovanFrontSince96 replied to Blue_Devil's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I don’t think there’s one player in the world who would pick a 1st round europa league qualifier against probably amateurs over a World Cup semi. -
So didn’t get one as usual, but getting my mates who is down at Aintree for the weekend, so get one for the final, win win! In don’t mind missing out to other fans who deserve it, it’s the 14,000 in the ground who pick and choose the big games that does my head in. My mate refs at lower level and even they get 12 tickets in a ballot, joke.

The emails still coming through or is that them all sent out now? Got sweet FA again.

Sean Goss considering playing for NI
GovanFrontSince96 replied to Lloyd's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
International football is becoming more like club football in terms of chasing players now, the 5 year rule has made it even more farcical. With mass immigration I think international football will be pointless in a couple of generations time personally. Who knows Scotland might win a World Cup with 11 talented refugees in the future, I’m sure many would take the win but it’s not the same is it? -
Fraserborough lockout?
GovanFrontSince96 replied to East Enclosure Row N's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Fraserburgh chairman has said 150 with fakes were denied entry into the stadium, sounds a massive amount for such a small allocation. -
Is this what Pena thinks of Rangers

We had 7 players at Italia 90, more in the English squad than the Scottish. -

Keep up the great work, thoroughly enjoyed the tour a few years ago very well organised and informative, highly recommend to anyone who’s not yet been on it. -
I can’t stand Andy Walker but he was spot on today regarding Kranjcar, an absolute waste of a jersey today, completely useless and his fitness levels are an absolute embarrassment. Chasing shadows all game and when he got a breather to take a corner he couldn’t even put in 1 half decent ball. I was certain he was coming off at half time, to last until 79mins was astonishing. His time is well and truely up.
-
Spot on, can’t remember where I read it but after our offer he said fuck it I’d rather not play which he did end up doing. Fair enough if he thought he was worth a lot more. A bit like asking McCoist to manage us for £1000 a week when he took over he would have also told us to ram it. World Class Player though no doubt about it:

Don’t think he would have 2 stands named after him, Sir Walter Smith Stand for me. -

That’s fucked up, so instead of reffing the game the way it should be, he reffed it in a way that protects his image, frightening!

Barry Ferguson coming back to Ibrox
GovanFrontSince96 replied to Lloyd's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Might as well add Martin Bain to that list too -
They could have jogged from Renfrew and still made it with plenty to spare!

There's no manager that can fix this
GovanFrontSince96 replied to Dan Deacon's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Cardoso is abysmal one of the worst CB I’ve seen in a Gers team in a long time, is Herrera any better than Miller? It’s grim whatever way you look at it.
