I was in the Govan Rear, there were a few empty seats beside me, but I would reckon there were much more attendees than 38k. Only disappointment was that some of the catering stalls were closed and the pies ran out before the half time hordes could get served.Hopefully the caterers will get this right very soon. Great seeing the new signings. Shiels in particular stood out. The young guys did well too. Ashley won't be investing in Rangers. He was and still is desperate to offload Newcastle United. They had an unexpected season of success (for them) last term and Ashley changed the stadium name but didn't put a penny into the club coffers for so doing. I know a lot of Geordies and whilst they have accepted Alan Pardew, they do not like Ashley one bit. Tell any Geordie that they play at any place other than St James'park and you will have lit blue touch paper! Ashley does not have anyone's best interests at heart bar his own. We do not need his ilk at this time.

Not had time to read the whole thread so apologies if this has been already posted. Levein stating it would be difficult for our Division 3 players to step up to international level. We've seen that with certain SPL managers too!

I have absolutely no interest in anything SPL or radio phone in related. I couldn't even tell you the SPL scores from the weekend. I am just delighted to be going along to The Stadium tomorrow night to support my team along with thousands of other Bears and Bearettes. What I predict is that we will be back in the top flight next season as they could not bear(pardon the pun) to be without us for more than a season. We have been away a matter of weeks and they are fretting already! To all of you attending tomorrow evening,enjoy the game, enjoy Rangers!

I gave up listening to Clyde a long time ago. The only pundit that I heard stick up for us was Darryl King but even at times his head was full of carry on. Derek Johnstone used the programmes as a one man stand up comedy show - and a very poor one at that. Fraser Wishart is clearly well educated but is reticent to become embroiled in any big arguments. Other so called Gers minded pundits like Alex Rae & Gordon Dalziel are so happy to be on the receiving end of a pay-cheque and are also limited in their eloquence to be effective contributors. I do not know who these new pundits shall be nor do I care. Undoubtedly the phone-in format will follow the station's music output policy, i.e. tune in anytime and you could be in a timewarp from years gone by. Timmy will still be paranoid and encouraged to be so by the presenter and contributors on the show who pass themselves off as pundits. It is not for me to tell anyone what their listening pleasure should be, but if people listen to radio stations such as Clyde then there should be no surprise on their part regarding these station's outputs.

Well now that Motherwell's European sojourn is virtually over, I'm sure they will be able to concentrate their efforts in challenging for the SPL title this season! Hopefully another mob's European venture will suffer a similar fate tomorrow then wee Timmy will get back to doing what he does best - being obsessed by Rangers!

I also think Green should state publicly that the term "old firm" should no longer be used. We have nothing to do with that lot any more, we are no longer in "business" with them therefore "old firm" is null and void. Oh and while he's at it he should also say that we are no longer "good friends!"

Yorkshire men have a reputation for telling it how it is. Charles Green is cut from that jib. There will be bheastly wringing of hands and howling at the moon at this statement. But there will also be fear. Fear that we are rising from the ashes, fear that our prolonged and unjust period of punishment is now beginning to apall fellow members of the football fraternity.And fear that the great plan of The Bheast is starting to unravel. One radio phone in has gone leaving one less avenue for the dhark side to peddle their misinformation and others may follow. But above all their biggest fear is that despite everything that has been thrown at us, we as a club and as a support have stood firm and foresquare. Cometh the hour, cometh the man. That man is Ally McCoist who has been our oasis in a desert of shattered hopes! There are many proud former Rangers' stalwarts who have passed on but who will be beaming down their pride that once again another true stalwart has maintained their proud legacy. Whatever happens in the future in terms of results/trophies, let us never forget the magnitude of the role which Ally has undertaken and how magnificently he has served our club in it's darkest period. This act alone ensures that he shall have a place in our history books for evermore as the true legend which he is! I salute you sir!

If you look at things alphabetically then Club 12 would almost certainly seem to be Dundee. I can't see them being invited to the SPL only to be turned away at the last minute. That would be a cruel gesture to Dundee F.C. in the extreme in my opinion.

That certainly wasn't my experience when I cancelled mine. I was on hold for ages and when I got through I was told I would be transferred to the right section and the phone line went dead. Perhaps your reason for cancelling is on Sky's "acceptable reasons for cancellation list" along with things like bereavement etc. I wouldn't go back to them but I wouldn't tell anyone else what to do. We all are entitled to make choices which suit us best.

Have you ever tried cancelling Sky? What will happen is your call will be put through to the section dealing with cancellations and no-one will want to answer because if they do and you cancel that person suffers via lack of bonus for letting a customer go. So you will either be on hold for a very long time at a VERY expensive rate and you either will hang up in frustration or be subjected to a hard sell about alternatives to cancellation and warned of penalty fees for so doing. But wait, you want to go through this process to merely threaten to cancel if Sky don't put the SPL in its place? Well then you will be given platitudes at best about how your point will be highlighted at a higher level and the relieved operator will come off the phone and wipe a bead of sweat from his/her brow at the fact that you haven't actually cancelled. You will also have paid a wee fortune in your phone bill to make your threat known. Not only this but you will have to do it all over again if you want to carry out your threat. Finally a few hundred thousand cancellations - if you are lucky - is a mere drop in the ocean to the millions who will continue to subscribe to Sky. The idealogy of your OP may appeal to you and others but the reality is completely different. And there you go I didn't call you one of those from the dark side either!

Ally McCoist! - Simply The Best!

Haven't had the time to be on here recently but Rangers has suffered the medieval torture of being hung, drawn and quartered! SPL Clubs, their supporters and indeed our organising bodies have engaged in a bloodlust the likes of which has never been seen before, and, which is astonishing to outsiders looking in. I am a great believer in Karma.What goes around comes around etc. To those who took great delight contributing to our downfall and expulsion from the SPL, your day is coming. Your ultimate misery will be deservedly compound. Expect no mercy when this occurs, for you were without mercy in your time of strength! Rangers will be back, bigger, better, stronger and more importantly; aware of who our TRUE friends are!

Just got home and reading this. So,so sad and puts things into perspective. There are no words of comfort which can ease the grief which the Reyna family will be going through. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. God rest the wee guy.
