Not been on here as much lately and just found out about this through twitter. I agree feels like I have known him for a long time and was just thinking how young he must have been in the early days of the forum. This has left me with such feelings of sorrow and loss. Condolences to all his family and friends. 

I never met Ben but havent stopped thinking about him and his family all week.  Thank you for setting up the fundraiser.  Never quite feels like enough to honour the memory of someone who clearly meant so much to so many, but atleast we can all show support for the family.

I read the tragic news about Ben yesterday, absolutely heartbreaking!
I used to post on and off on here many years ago, under a different username etc, but stopped.  I've always looked in, and kept up to date with everything that's going on, and still love how it's not changed much(haha),  and even though I didn't know Ben personally, you just knew he was one of the good guys!
Anyway, I'm on another Rangers forum, with a decent number of good Rangers posters on it, and I have got the OK to post a link to Ben's fundraising appeal. Before I do that, I wanted to make sure that was OK with you guys?
My heart, thoughts & prayers go out to Ben's poor family, his loved ones, his friends, and all on here,  at such a sad time. Having to watch the pain my mum has carried for 16 years after my young brother passed away at only 32, you just can't explain this type of pain in words!

Hi, I don't know much about football, and I know even less about forums, this is the first one I've been on. I worked with Ben for the last few years and have ended up here following some of the comments from the just giving. I have cried reading all the words of support and love on this thread and the fundraiser and wanted to say thank you for putting it together. It's done so much to bring people together in this time of need and its a great suggestion to arrange something at ibrox & donate to several charities. 
Ben always talked about this forum but downplayed his role significantly. I can see what a beautiful community this is. I just wish Ben were here to see how loved, cared for and well thought of he was, and that this too shall pass.

As a banned member I thought I’d sign up, as I want to give my condolences to young Bens family and friends at this sad and difficult time.
I only met Ben once or twice watching Rangers through the years, also knowing him for years on the forum, it’s so sad hearing about his untimely and sudden death. Ben was only a few years older than my son, so I suppose it’s got a chord with me. He was an absolute diamond of a fella, sometimes we didn’t see eye to eye on here, but so what it’s the internet ffs. 
 
on another note, if the forums admin wanted to do a raffle/football card/auction to help raise funds, I have a match worn Mark Hately top from the 92/93 season that I won at an auction,  I’d be happy to hand over to the forum to help raise funds. If any help is needed at all, no matter how small I’d be happy to help. cheers.

We've actually got past the stage of despair and are now laughing at ourselves.

I'd say we got better as the game went on, a few nice touches, some dodgy refereeing, but overall the players have no fight or confidence.
