Gio’s pre season has a lot to answer for - Players have been unfit from the offset Add in every CL game where we were out run Morelos coming back overweight Players constantly injured Yilmaz ripping his hamstring the first time he needs to out run an opponent Utter disaster Hopefully MB will run the legs off them like SG and we can atleast be fit and ready for the challenges ahead

There’s no doubt there’s a player in Tillman but he’s young and with that comes inconsistency If you think back to say Arteta and even GVB it took them abit of time to adjust to the fast physical nature of Scottish football but have vocally endorsed their time with us improved them as a player. For Tillman to truly fulfill his potential he will need to get better at the defensive side of his game, accept he won’t get time on the ball and hopefully influence the big games better Hopefully next season as I expect us to buy him - He will have a head start with what’s expected but also have better players around him which should help his game

If we fill all those voids you have counted then that’s a squad of 28 - Never going to happen Needs to be circa a squad of 20 good first team ready players and anything else topped up with the youths Squad size is our current issue - Filled with players not contributing and draining the resource

Need to see if McCrorie can step up and fill the GK conundrum - If not then that’s a priority Need to make a decision on Yilmaz - Is he going to make it or can we recoup back our fee and move him on? Pretty much covered at CB. Midfield needs attention - Raskin/Cantwell bring energy sadly we have to many immobile and sideward ball players - Need a massive improvement in quality here. Youth players won’t get a chance and can’t think of any Scottish based players who could make the move Relaying heavily on our scouts to unearth some first team ready players Once again attack needs improved - Lack of freshness has been a big downfall of our squad management. Morelos/Kent/Roofe all need moved on - Once again not sure domestically who can improve is so we need to be on the ball with our targets I for one don’t want any projects - We need immediate first team ready players who can improve us Need to utilise Bosman/free transfers and make sure we get it rite when we do part with cash….

McGregor isn’t blameless with his floaty goal kick to the wing which celtic win and it puts them on the attack. A proper goal kick to get us up the park and they don’t get to start the attack from inside our half…. On the flip side there’s a large passage of play before it’s in our net

We need to move on from Morelos as he’s not the player he was 3 years ago - Hes not leading the line any thing like he was Also not scoring the same amount of goals. Not advocating Shankland is the answer but we need to freshen things up Think it’s obviously Alfie wants out the door aswell and not just fans wanting a change

Denied a goal and was ok but….. His times up and we need to move on Hes been part of the problem for to long and that before you add on returning overweight/petulance/red cards etc. Actually hasn’t been the same since Gerrard turned him into a supportive striker - Hes always miles away from the goals linking play

Pathetic again to not take anything from that. They we’re dreadful today with misplaced passes yet we couldn’t take advantage yet somehow manage to keep them in the game and give them atleast 2 goals to make it hard for ourselves. With the exception of the errors I can’t lay to much fault on the team - Pressed better and had them on the ropes. We know we need better players in certain positions all over the park but the gap isn’t that big after todays showing and we must take some belief that we can win at the end of the month. It’s time to move on from Morelos - Hes not been the same since his thigh injury during the EL run. Hes comeback well unfit and generally stuck 2 fingers up at the club. Colak might not be the answer but if we are going to play him then we might aswell try and play to his strengths. My recollection as a teenager was we were doing ok but lost a late equaliser to Kilmarnock at Ibrox circa February time - We sold Gazza to Middlesbrough - Dropped points to Aberdeen at Pittodrie and we just ran out of steam in the end Like a few others have said we held on to the old stalwarts to long through loyalty and previous glories. Sir Walter announcing midseason he was leaving possibly didn’t help On a side note - Losing to Hearts in the SC Final and seeing my boyhood heroes crying and lying on the turf dejected is one of the worst things I’ve seen. That wasn’t the way they deserved to leave

There’s no doubt some of the injuries we have are down to bad luck - I thought Lawrence hurt his knee but now people are saying it’s his Achilles? Souttar was an enormous gamble…. However, Is there a link between GVB’s poor low tempo training and then players getting injured when they have over exerted themselves? We all mentioned the players looked unfit and got outran in CL. No scientific proof but just mentioning it as an option.

Delighted - Badly needed some freshness in the midfield

Lost count of the number of times I’ve said hopefully this will be the game we put a performance together instead of the disjointed nonsense we’ve been watching - Delighted with the results and wins but the performances and lethargy are a hard watch We badly need reinforcements in - The midfield combo of Lundstrum/Jack or Lundstram/Kamara etc is howling at the minute and can’t control or dominate any opposition team hence these open end to end battles we are enduring Thought Morelos was awful last night but he gets no support or supply from the midfield McGregor Tavernier Goldson Davies Barasic Jack Cantwell Tillman Sakala Kent Colak Shouldnt need 2 holding midfielders against St J at home
