It is absolutely fucking incredible to think that back at the dawn of the satellite tv era, English games were going onto the Sky TV platform and the Scottish were going onto the BSB "Squarial" one. Sky launched first and grabbed the market by the scruff of the neck, eventually swallowing up BSB, and our football status has been dropping ever since.
It came down to a choice of 2 satellite giants and we sided witth the loser. The EPL clubs are now worth billions...we can't even afford to get our pitches playable.
