  1. Possible, but I hope either enough of us see the bigger picture and enjoy seeing the team grow and improve, or just dutifully support. Every game is a step back to the very top.
  2. Totally agree. We will be fine and will enjoy the journey. Any changes will be totally for their benefit. Must be resisted.
  3. Me too. Just bought Falkirk tickets - chose post tickets but it insisted on smart carding it. Plenty of time to come for next Thur.
  4. A half decent team is going to kill us with 3 at the back (well this 3). 4 at the back, don't give away easy goals, and our quality will always give a few goals. But at least we have the luxury of time to experiment.
  5. our memory is long, and our wish for revenge is strong. Hope the club takes the lead, so we can be organised.
  6. We have a team to support and a point to make, so need to keep encouraging our fellow bears to do their duty and turn out, even through the winter. Can we keep this up? I know we can.
  7. The only one on the pitch really making things happen. He will be the new Davy Cooper.
  8. I have been boring my kids tonight telling them that what they will witness tomorrow will be truly something famous - I think they now understand..........only 1 hangover away from the match.
  9. I fully support never joining the SPL again. I would be quite content winning the 1st division, along with the scottish cup, league cup and Ramsden cup most years.
  10. I and my family will be their every home game. I see it as an absolute duty now. Time to support. I will see it as disappointing if we are not called sell out ibrox every fortnight.
  11. F them all. The silent majority is rising up to support our club. We laugh at the vocal morons who fling shit, but don't put bums on seats. We are the people. Our club is bigger than any owner or billionair - it is a loyal support that spans the globe.
  12. Dutchy, Many thanks for posting that great film. I engoyed getting pissed listening to all those famous names. Great build up to tomorrow. Humans are all tribal, and I am sure most of us here are firmly of the tribe called RANGERS.
  13. I've said it before and now again - Green is saying all the right things, but......... In Ally I trust - to be our man keeping an eye on the Men in Suits. I support Rangers, I trust Ally, and Green looks OK so far. Can't wait for tomorrow.
  14. Tonight was the first time a scotland game has been on the telly and I have not watched it. Sickened by out treatment by the SFA. I thought it would pass with time, but this treatment of Black - yes, last straw for me. Rangers only Rangers.
  15. It's all falling beautifully into place. As someone on here said a few days ago - 'the Empire strikes back'. Fantastic support staying loyal to the cause. Just think what it will be like when we get back to the top and win the top league (whatever it is called when we get their). It will be something to behold. The stadium ain't big enough. WATP.
  16. Saw him yesterday talking to us in the queue. Can't fault him for that or anything else he has done. Under normal circumstances I would think he was a hero. But he will move on and someone else will take over. But Rangers will always be their. In Ally I trust. As long as Ally is their, I am happy Green is in charge. We are happy with what Green shows to the outside. I trust Ally to keep an eye on what we don't see.
  17. A start of a season like no other.....Players coming in, players leaving and more to go, so not the time for trying anything new. For me we should be trying to be solid at the back to start with, and the quality up front should see at least a 1-0 or 2-0. Leave the experimenting for a few months when the squad is settled.
  18. I see no problem here. I was suspicious of Green (here to make money), and an still to be fully convinced (will take more time/actions), but our views on who is the owner, to me, has nothing to do with us now rallying behind Ally and the team and filling the stadiums wherever they go - and cheering them on whatever the score. I support the Rangers - I don't necessarily have to support Green (although he is growing on me)
  19. Agree. At the East Fife game I was annoyed at some people behind me doing the old winging/moaning when passes went astray. You may think to yourself 'that was shit', but keep it inside, and cheer on the team - come on the Gers. This is a time for SUPPORT. That's what we are called, and need to deliver. Gets the team down, encourages the opposition, so has no place at the park. We can have a moan here, but some take it too far.
  20. Just disappointing - nothing else. A wake up call.
  21. sloppy at the back and Broadfoot our only attacking 'winger' ????????......But in the long run this result will probably be better than us running over them 4 nil - Reinforces the fact we are just at the start of rebuilding a TEAM. Rather Ally gives them a roasting now (and makes more changes), rather than having to do it after being put out the cup by some other diddy team.
  22. I don't know why Greig has kept quiet, but i'm sure the rest of us don't know either. Greig is a Rangers legend. I would have expected more from him, but that just moves him down the list of greats a bit. McCloy, Jardine, Miller, Forsyth, Jackson, McDonald, McLean, Russel, (Johnstone removed), Smith, Cooper etc etc will always be legends to me. So Greig will always be a legend and should be part of the club in some way - but not maybe as the greatest any more.
  23. Fill every away ground and ibrox every week. Win, loose or draw support the team. No booing, groning or whining at players. We've reached the bottom, now it's up all the way. We are the news, and we are the PEOPLE.
  24. Is it what he said - Hope so. Is he the greatest ever Ranger - heading their. Is he the greaters living Ranger - starting to think so. Does it bring a tear to my eye - you bet. What song will we sing again and again every game endlessly - Super Ally. If they try to punish him, will it tip us over the edge - think so.
  25. Yes, a true great. The younger amongst us will not know the passion of men like this and their understanding of what being a Ranger was. I could not visualise the Whyte episode happening with big Jock at the club. I thank you for reminding me of this date to reflect on this icon.
